My theory on what might happen in the event is that when v31.41 drops, a stage for a concert will appear on the island with a 10 day countdown timer. Revealing that this event might be a concert. And then when the event starts Marshello will appear and peform on the stage. 2 minutes pass by and suddenly the concert gets hacked by Doom. And then the doom tower next to CastleDoom will show Dooms face on it. And then the tower blasts a large beam in the sky summoning Doom onto the island once again. And then a cutscene plays where this time he is looking for the Zero Point. He smashes the middle of the island and finds the Zero Point. Before he finds the Zero Point Hope, Jones, Iron Man, War Machine, and everyone else will come on the island wondering how he made it back on the island. Doom then finds the zero point and harvests all of its power to destroy the entire island. Before he destroys the island, Iron Man comes up with an idea to rift us away from the island since Doom has become so powerful. He brings out a machine and then the machine makes a large rift in the air. Right before Doom uses his arcane blast on us. We run into the machine and then we travel through time. At first we suddenly land on the chapter 3 map, and then another rift opens and we teleport on the Chapter 2 map.
My theory is that maybe yes the event is a concert celebrating the defeat of doom, but as it goes on. Mephisto intervenes and does something bad, and we gotta do something about it. Eventually, what would happen will lead us into chapter 2 OG.
I really hope this „new game mode dropping later this year” is the Fortnite storyline mode. It would make sense to revisit the narrative once again and experience the storyline in it’s entirety
I’m betting 8-ball, Ripley, Fusion, Meowscles, Midas, and Jules are most likely to get remixed. Maybe also Eternal Knight, Kit, Ocean, TNTina, and the medic skin from C2S1.

Honestly wouldn’t mind having chapter 6 be set on the chapter 3 map but during chapter 2 seasons 5-8 (we would escape to the flipside it avoid Midas’ flood. Or alternatively I would love for chapter 6 to be a map created by the fusion of both sides of the island (chapter 2 and 3) causes by the doomsday device going wrong in a different way during chapter 2 retro. We then have to spend chapter 6 trying to undo the fusion and keep the timeline together as it should be. This will then leave us on the chapter 3 map for chapter 3 retro
I have an idea since it is 4 weeks long since the schedule is 1 week c2s1 2 weeks c2s2 1 week c2s3 and there is 4 skins we have the first skin a mix between 8-ball and rippley or a skin like spectra knight (customizabale) 8-ball, then the second skin a mix between gear specialist maya and journey (the first skin of c2s1) and the 3rd skin a mix of midas and chaos agent and for the tier 50 Fade (C2s3 t1 full mask) and fusion (c2s1 t100). Since you earn them as you play

There's no sign of the time machine. Its in the zero point. The rocket in the og event which we attached the time machine to went into the zero point so realistically the time machine the rocket and im guessing slone. would all be trapped in the zero point.
Also the concerts probably gonna be like the Eminem concert where it is advertised as the main part of the event but it's just the sideshow. And maybe in pleasant Park we do the marshmello concert like in chapter 1 because that's where it was originally
