I used to live in Paris at Massena Blvd. from '95 to '04. Watching this brought back a lot of memories. The sound of the trains wooshing in and out of the tunnels, the sirens they make before they close the doors, the voice announcing where you're at, none of that's changed. I remember the platforms were a lot bigger, but that's probably because I was so little at the time. Thanks for uploading this.

I notice that there’s graffiti on the trains now. The trains were clean in 2012, the last time we visited Paris. The first time I visited Paris, you could still find the Sprague-Thomson. I am a métro/subway affecionado and I loved especially the Sprague-Thomson trains.

If Ligne 5 is anything to go by, much of the system is in need of modernisation. Outside of the hubs there are few escalators or lifts, so if you are older or carrying a suitcase you are in for a shock . . .

10 years ago Paris was one of my favourite list city i wanted to go😕. some trains are stored outside for long periods of time and people like to paint them, it really depends if they had time to remove it
