Weir is that geocache?

  • A quest to find a new geocache at an old weir. This video was shot in the summer of 2015/16, it was then edited and promptly lost and forgotten about. Recently rediscovered, this tale of frustration and disappointment is now shared with the world. In the genre of geocaching videos this cinematic feast is unusual in that it does not involve actually finding a cache!
    Please enjoy :-)
PS: I did return here some weeks later with a friend for another attempt. With the water levels much lower we succeeded without even getting our feet wet.

Another beautiful place, just throwing some ideas out there, also good place for some knife reviews, flash light reviews, fire starting, bug out shelters 1 or 2, review of whats in your backpack, is it a 1 day, 2 day, 5 day, or 1 year backpack, trap building, we all want a the knots your using and the shoes, socks and jocks you'r wearing. Seriously, always enjoy stuff, keep it up.

You're in much better humour than I would have been... I hate being thwarted by nature! It did look like a nice meandering walk though, and the sound of water is always nice! Cheers Mark!

Ouch! Bloody crickets are making an ear-piercing racket. Whole bush is alive with critters!
Always time for having a dog when caching. Make a site, give the dog a treat, make sure they see you place other dog treats in the cache and bury it. Dog wll never want to forget that food (reward) spot, and smell the local ground for triangulation! Next time you need to go back, they will triangulate and identify the spot and start digging out the cache for their reward.

The noise was insane, perfect conditions for the little critters. Thanks for watching.

Loved the sounds of the birds and all the other critters. The birds there are way cooler than the central Ohio variety..lol. Some day I will get to Australia. Ive got a couple different friends in NSW. Some day..... :-)

I'm hiding in the air-con this weekend. It's high 30 degrees C and humid out there. Not nice at all.
