As a shopaholic myself, these are my favourite videos. It’s nice to see that the island has good shopping places, at least for plants! Loved the garden centre with the little lemon trees ❤️ Amalie, let us see other shopping places for clothes for example... I’m coming here everyday now looking for new videos! All the best guys 😘
Something that you have to learn to live in Madeira is that the weather can allways surprise you. My advice: when you get out from home for a walk, take the swimsuit and the umbrella. Both of them can be usefull. Don't take confident with a bright sunrise morning, but never been sad with a rainy morning. The weather is always changing, mostly in winter.
I think Amelia and Joen should put their videos on dvd. They're better than anything that's on tv these days.

I'm sorry, Joen, but I'm with Amalie on this one: a toilet brush is an absolute must-have in every bathroom! And they don't have to be disgusting: pour a little bleach (or any other toilet-cleaning product) on the bristles every so often, and there you go...
On a more pleasant note, what an absolutely terrific place you got for yourselves! Fantastic Madeira!

When coming across items at a reduced price -- say, two or three for the price of one, or four for the price of two, etc. -- which we know that will be put to good use, it is best to buy a good few of these so that it won't be necessary to buy them again for a long while (and that normally at a higher price). It makes perfectly good sense!

hi guys, its still so strange to see you guys living here, for a long time follower i mean. i hope you guys are happy and living the dream but at the same time it's a little bit sad that because of covid, the stuff the makes living in Madeira great it's all on pause. it would be a radical diferent experience if this were normal times, the festivals, the arraiais, the city buzz, the weekend night life, the carnaval, the festa da flor, thee rally, easter, xmas etc all fun and great experiences. i hope you'll stay long enough in our island to enjoy that. and what a balcony you guys have to enjoy the biggest party of the year - new years eve. go bas dost

You have to go to a restaurant called "La Parreira" in Campanario. Amazing, and you choose the meat you want directly from the butchery and you wont regret it

I don't exactly understand the fascination with the toilet brushes. I recently disavowed them and spent $20 on heavy duty gloves that go half way up the arm. That and the scrubby of my choice gets the job done better than any brush. Plus they're not on display. They're in a bucket in the closet.

I think you guys should visit Porto Santo, it’s a 3 hour ferry journey with Lobo Marinho and it’s amazing there. My little hometown missing Madeira so much. I’m glad you guys love it there so far!! Love your videos x

Everything in that store is crazy-stupid expensive - 22 Euros for a toilet brush! - Are you kidding me! - So I had to look online and they are sold for anywhere from 15 to 40 US Dollars - try going to a hardware store - there they are only 5 US Dollars (about 6 Euros) - and I live in Seattle (USA) with one of the world's highest cost of living.
