After 2 years of having TV and trying literally everything to treat it and remove it, I have finally found what works. I watched so many videos on RUclips on how to treat I figured out how to deal with it and thought I’d come back and share with everybody else. I went to the doctor and got a prescription for a cream called Lamisil (anti fungal cream). I used it for a a week or 2 and it completely went away. Thing is it will come away tho but you can CONTROL it. What I did to control it was use the cream again till it went away, then bought tea tree oil (the moisturizer kind for the body), apply the tea tree oil on your body every night before you sleep and it will make sure your tv does NOT come back. At least that’s what worked for me. If you’re reading this you should try it.
When I was younger I didnt have the issue longterm but did get tiny flare ups during the summer. Now I just have it all year round and learned that it’s made worse by insulin resistance. My blood sugar isnt great, so it makes sense. Weight loss has helped improved mines definitely.

This was great. Glad you mentioned how you felt insecure and how you struggled explaining it to people. I too felt insecure and less confident. It didn't help that when visiting with my parents and after I explained what was going on, my mother became super nervous that I might spread it to her. I'm so thankful I ran across your video. Your video was very informative in helping me. I can't believe I've been suffering with this so many years from head to toe and didn't have a clue it was all related. I'm addicted to carbs and It's causing me a whole lot of problems with fungus. When you mentioned having the dark mask around your mouth and chin I was shocked because I have this also and on other areas of my face, neck, and chest, I thought it was just darkening from too much sun and for years I've use bleaching creams that didn't work. Thank you so much.

@ennvee1989 I saw a dermatologist who told me I had this too. She said to use a benzol peroxide wash.
