The difference between IDA and B thalassemia minor on CBC on the base of RDWcv, TRBCs , Mentzer index would be great. This comparison for thalassemia major and IDA will not work. Kindly share your thoughts on it.

That’s a great point. Non transfusion dependent thalassemia (thalassemia
Minor) can be differentiated from IDA based on Mentzer index and CBC indices.
