I personally think Battle Styles is a much better set than most people give credit to. It is also the set that opened the door to the alt arts for the SW&SH era. Put some respect on its name lol.
I’m glad people are leaving Pokemon because then Pokemon tries harder to get them back. Pokémon wasn’t popular at all during the Black & White and XY era yet it has some of the most incredible sets like Legendary Treasures and Flashfire.
That’s why u gotta buy for the love of something and not the money u think it’ll be worth. I don’t regret anything Pokemon related things I’ve gotten. 🤘😁🤘
I think its great for adult small spenders and young collectors to buy in on others graded junk and learn from it as well... I bought some 3-6$ graded V cards local for nephews and they thought it was super cool regardless of what it was and I got some graded ex/gx stuff under 8$ each for myself to collect without breaking the bank... thank you for the great insight!

I feel like I’m one of the few urshifu/battle styles fans, I think all their alt arts and trainer gallery’s slapped. The only one that might be a miss to some people is single strike vmax alt art because it looks similar to the regular vmax (but the sf artists makes up for it imo).
problem is hit rates, and the fact that BS was kind of the peak of overprinted. The only playable cards in it were reprinted like a zillion times for different urshifu single strike/rapid strike products. Good move to be fair for the players. However even now its just cheap. But I like the empolean AA a lot as well as the rapid strike urshifu vmax AA.
It's funny you mentioned the Charizard promo cuz I have like ten of those lol. Will probably give them away to people on my channel though cuz it's a cool card that new peeps didn't get the chance to get from those horrible ETBs I opened 😂
The value on this stuff in my opinion is 400$ max. Those slabs will be worth more in 10 years but they're really bulk slabs. This is a lot of stuff from when scalpers were all over the hobby and now they're jumping to Lorcana.
They won't be worth anything in 10 years. They are ten cent cards on a piece of plastic. The plastic does not ad value to cards nobody ever wanted to begin with
I got multiple of those broken Rayquaza figures around the house. Honestly seeing the price of the hidden fates premium collection that it came in hurts more than seeing the broken figure itself. Pre-pandemic was just a different time and I figured I could get those for under $100 and not the $700-$800 it costs now.
I’m waiting for these sellers to give up once the people hopefully realize the scammy tactics and these people actually sell there cards for cheap because nobody wants that bs

Any slab under grade 10 isn't worth holding on to. Only exception is rare cards in 9. Everything else is isn't even worth keeping in a slab
