I don’t know what it is and please nobody judge in the comments but as a skater “”in the 90s watching younger people excel at stuff that I couldn’t do when I was in my teams and that they can pull off is just incredible. It’s a beautiful thing for the sport, I mean we were lucky to find a skate park or a half pipe and I get it they’re a little more for privileged having access to a mega ramp but I remember grinding on half pipes that didn’t have coping so it’s just cool to watch I’d rather be happy for the progression of the sport, then to be bitter aboutthe past of the sport if that makes sense

Not true. There's a very good reason to be terrified of doing physically dangerous stunts. You could easily get killed or paralyzed for life.

Since I haven't seen it commented yet, this was a few years ago, and this girl went on to be a junior olympic skateboarder, she got a bronze medal in Tokyo 2020. She also got a gold medal in X games earlier this year.
