I just bought 3 trilogies to start my Nora Robert’s reading journey. I want to read all her books, but then I saw how many books she’s written and I’m speechless 😮
Nora Roberts is a great author, and one of the most popular sellers at work (I work in a bookstore in Australia!!) - and her also being J D Robb, is also really trippy as well being her alias for her crime novels!
I am so happy you are in your Nora Roberts era. I fell in love with her writing years ago, and she is the author that introduced me to romantic suspense. I also absolutely love her Bride Quartet series as well❤. If you are looking for more romantic suspense, Sandra Brown is good, too. And I believe Julie Garwood has a few as well.
So I started reading the silouette books in the late 80's and found Nora probably early 90's and started buying all her books. I stopped reading for a few years and I am now going back and reading all the old Nora Books I still have that are unread. I do love her writing. I enjoy her romance, suspence and her paranormal. I am currently reading the McGregor series now. I hope you enjoy all her incredible work. Love what you have collected and yes when I finish a book I either put in a little free library or donate to the goodwill hoping other enjoy it as much as I did.
This video makes me feel so nostalgic because I've read them all and I just wish I could read them again for the first time and actually own the physical books.😭😭❤️❤️
I was hooked on all the Nora Roberts movies in the 2000s. I own them all on DVD! It made me want to get into her books but the large backlist always seemed daunting. I read Obsession this year after you recommended it in a video.... and now I'm OBSESSED! haha I'll really be making her books a priority in 2024
I have been a Nora Roberts fan for years. She started writing in 1981. I have a full bookshelf plus of her. You might try the In The Garden trilogy ( Blue Dahlia, Black Rose, Red Lily) 3:293:343:36
I bet that was me with Midnight Bayou. That and Tribute are two of my favorite books by her. I also loved her Sign of Seven trilogy (the first book is Blood Brothers) which is definitely paranormal!
Nora is an auto buy author for me. I have her newest book being shipped to me from her bookstore personalized and signed by her and I’m ecstatic for it. My favorites of hers are Genuine Lies and Private Scandals.
Hey, Jessica!!! I hope you are doing well. I love Nora Roberts, and I'm collecting her books as well. Angel Falls, Northern Lights, Montana Sky, Carolina Moon, and Blue Smoke are so good. These books were always made into TV movies. I enjoyed the movies as well, but the books were way better. Take care😊😊😊
I didn't see Montana Sky and can't get Angel Falls. Very disappointed in Blue Smoke made it to easy to guess unlike the book. I don't know how I missed Carolina Moon.
@BobbiTaylor624 I enjoyed the movies. Blue Smoke was my least favorite. I haven't read the book yet. Nora Roberts' latest book The Inheritance is good as well. I've never read a book about a spooky house before😊😊😊
Who would make fun of you for finding a new to you author? Ridiculous. Screw them lol. Nora is such an icon. And her in Death series from her J.D. Robb series. She is so amazing. Im so glad you're jumping into her books. Loved the video 🩷🤗🎉
The first book of hers I ever read was Born in Fire. I love this trilogy. I have reread it a number of times. I also enjoyed the Chesapeake saga. I have been reading her since 1995. Her J.D. Robb series is really good too. Enjoy your collection.
Dance Upon the Air is book 1, Heaven and Earth is book 2, and Face the Fire is book 3 is book 3 in the Three Sisters Trilogy. That’s a PNR witchy romance trilogy.
Wow you’re catching up with my collection! Love that you’re reading her books now! I’ve mostly read her romantic suspense and romance & fantasy trilogies. And I really enjoyed the Dragon heart trilogy as well as the Guardians trilogy! I’d say Come Sundown should be something you read soon - lots of horses in it!
I have never read Nora Roberts before but this made me super excited to read something from her. I understand about being made fun of for what I like to read. I enjoy a lot of Debbie Macomber books. I just find the so wholesome and sweet the remind me of Hallmark movies
I love Nora Roberts and don't know why anyone would make fun of you for liking her books. I have read about five of her books at this time and loved all of them. I just finished Inheritance today, and it's my favorite book of hers so far. I can't wait until book two comes out and it's going to be a long time :( You have a great collection of books, and I found you looking for inspiration as to the next book from her I want to read. Great video :)
The Innsboro Trilogy similar to Ashley Poston imo. I read it a long time ago tho (showing my age lol). The Bride quartet something I still recommend. Not done with video so don’t know if you have any of those
I absolutely love Nora Roberts. She’s one of my favorite authors. Some of my favorites I highly recommend is the Circle Trilogy, (this series is my top favorite and will always have a special place in my heart)The Year One Trilogy, The Awakening Trilogy, The Cousins O’Dwyer Trilogy, The Key Trilogy. Her books are so comforting, interesting and always, always memorable!!! Enjoy!!! Happy Reading!!! 📚🧸✨💕
Nora Robert's Public Secrets was one of the authors/book that got me into romance. A friend had given me 4 books (1 NR, 1 historical romance, and 2 harlequin/silhouette books) to try, and I was a fan. I had a huge collection (about 100-115 NR and JD Robb) a little over a year ago but I cut it down a lot because I was only reading 1 book by her every 3 or 4 years. So I ended up keeping the 20-ish I read and loved, and about 20 more that I was super interested in and gave the rest away. I'll still read her books but if there's one that I want to read that I don't have I'll go to the library. Thankfully, she's so popular that her books are easily accessible. I love that you found her books and that you're loving them.
Great collection! Have you watched any of the Nora Roberts movies?? Might be a neat vlog idea to read the books and then watch the movies. There are movies for quite a few like Montana Sky, Blue Smoke, High Noon, Midnight Bouyou, Northern Lights, etc. The movies might be a little cheesy but still enjoyable❤
Totally agree about the movies! Nora is such an icon that Lifetime would do a whole Nora Roberts month with a new movie each weekend. My mom and I would always watch them together and loved them.
The smaller hard cover books might be book club editions. If the price is missing from the inside of the dust jacket, then it is a book club edition. That would be why it is missing the NR stamp. Montana Sky is the first romance book I ever read. 😻😻😻
You gotta read “Jewels of the Sun” (the first in the Irish trilogy of which you have the last book “Heart of the Sea”)! 💚☘️It is such a great Springtime, Irish Cottagecore romance! There is a lovelorn ghost, a spell, and an old fae/human love story. I’m in the middle of it now and it is sooo good! 💚
I have loved Nora Roberts for years and years and absolutely love her! Loved Identity such an amazing story, have Inheritance on my TBR. I saw After Sundown on your shelf that book was amazing! Midnight Bayou and Divine Evil are such amazing books
I want to read more romance in 2024 but I'm trying to figure out what tropes I like. Have you ever done a video where you talk about your favorite book for a variety of tropes? Like if someone were only ever going to read one small town romance which would you recommend? And do that with a bunch of popular tropes for people getting into reading romance
I do believe Nora is Irish; a lot of her characters are Irish and her books are often set in Ireland. Also the "Language of Love" series, the books with the flowers on the cover, there are 48 books in all. I don't know why they didn't do 50 as 48 seems weird to me. But she may have changed publishers at that point and the last two books were dropped. I think it was a repackaging of some of her Silhouette books. As I've shared with you before, I'm on a mission to own all of her books. I think I have fewer than 10 left to purchase including several of her newest ones. I've also been re-reading all of her books over the last two years. I'm not big on paranormal stories, but I still read hers. My favorites of hers are the Chesapeake Bay series, the Bride Quartet, Hidden Riches, In the Garden series (which has a great romance featuring an "older" couple) and Nightwork. RUclipsr BooksLikeWhoa went to Nora's inn, you might enjoy watching her vlog: ruclips.net/video/Avchw3KNqow/видео.html
I recently read Inheritance, it was 5 star read for me! But, to me, it's a perfect Halloween-Autumnal read! And I also the dark witch series too, that I think you will enjoy!
I've read about a dozen of Nora's books over the years. Of those you have, I think I've only read Hidden Riches, and I really liked it because it's set in Philadelphia, around where I grew up and the heroine is from a theatrical family. I would recommend that you pick up the "Born In" trilogy, the "Chesapeake" trilogy, the "Wedding Quartet," and her standalone, "Honest Illusions," about a family of magicians who are also jewel thieves. I did start Montana Sky at one point, but I think there's some animal harm in that one so I put it aside to try later.
Nora started at Harlequin I believe before she got picked up by other . Then they started to re release her books so she started to put NR on her books to let us know it was a new release at the time
Nora Roberts was actually my gateway to paranormal (Circle trilogy: dragon shifter, vampire) and supernatural (several series about witches and magic: three sisters trilogy, Key trilogy, Born In trilogy) back in the day. Don’t be afraid to try her In Death series because of the size of the series😂. Just read the first one, perhaps the first 3 as a trilogy, if you like her romantic suspense style. Listen to them via audible - fabulous narration. The hero reminds me of a futuristic self-made “Duke”, and the heroine reminds me of a female 90’s action Bruce Willis - these were written in the 90’s after all😂. They are so much old-skool fun, and I was surprised how sexy they were. These are set in the future, science fiction. And if you realise you love these, Nalini Singh’s Psi Changeling series has some inspiration to InDeath, set in the future, but with shifters… just saying…
I used to read a lot of her books. After her books High Noon, The Obsession, The Witness, Midnight Bayou, The Search, Carolina Moon, Chasing Fire, Tribute, Blue Smoke she doesn’t write romance like she used to. Her books aren’t what they used to be. Her writing isn’t the same anymore.
Why are people making fun of you for liking Nora Roberts? That's childish and uncalled for. Especially if it comes from fellow romance readers...like why are you shaming or looking down on any romance books? No one should be made fun of for enjoying any type of book or author. I'm sorry that's happening to you. Enjoy what makes you happy!
I’ve enjoyed all of the romantic suspense I’ve read so far but I still haven’t tried Nora Roberts 🤣 mostly because a lot of her books are so long! I own 2 though, I neeeeed to read them.
Have you read any Victoria Holt?? I just read “on the night of the seventh moon” and really enjoyed it, it’s super problematic buttttt 🤷🏼♀️ I liked it a lot
Nora's books may have a high page count, but I find her writing just so easy to read that it seems like I read her books faster than any other author I read. Of course, she's also my favorite author, so maybe it just seems that way!
I just bought 3 trilogies to start my Nora Robert’s reading journey. I want to read all her books, but then I saw how many books she’s written and I’m speechless 😮
Nora Roberts is a badass romance writer. She is a trailblazer and an icon. I love that you have found her this year! ❤
Me too 🥰
Nora Roberts is a great author, and one of the most popular sellers at work (I work in a bookstore in Australia!!) - and her also being J D Robb, is also really trippy as well being her alias for her crime novels!

Your covers are in SUCH GOOD condition & her covers are gorgeous. You’re so knowledgeable about the publications, etc.

I love that you’re going to visit her inn! What a fun girls’ trip!
I just found her and was drawn to her cover. I have all 3 books in O'Dwyer trilogy. I am excited to start them and see how they are.
I love Nora Roberts. Birthright is one of my favorites. Come Sundown is extremely dark - so just a heads up on that.
I love Nora Roberts books, just got Identity and Inheritance.
Nora Roberts is one of my favourite authors and I never hear anyone talk about her!
I went to her store in Boonsboro and got a book signed by her. I love it. I do not like her triogies.
The Search was really good, try Blue Smoke, that kept things guessing.
I have been a Nora Roberts fan for years. She started writing in 1981. I have a full bookshelf plus of her. You might try the In The Garden trilogy ( Blue Dahlia, Black Rose, Red Lily) 3:29 3:34 3:36
Try her books written under “J. D. Rob”. They include a very hot Irishman!
Try her JD Robb series, just love them.
The OG Rebellion cover is still one of my favs! ❤️ Your Nora collection is iconic ❤
I neeeed to find the first edition!!
Inn Boonsboro is one of my favorite trilogies!
I just got the O'Dwyer cousins Trilogy for Christmas from my sister in law. I love those books
Nora Roberts is the author who got me into romance.
