Luke seems like a good char. for people learning the game. Like how Bigfoot is in the top 3 pretty much for the ease of play and the extra cancels. Otherwise, if you’re facing someone with decent auto-damage you’ll just have to go nuts from turn 1.
I agree! A character that hits hard and has good blocks is always great to shove in front of a new player and say "here take this, good luck" The good news is most auto damage characters need time to set up so you might have a chance to just smash them beforehand
Awesome work as always. I just finished painting everything and will be getting the two new sets to the table the first time this weekend, and almost feel bad for watching all of these videos ahead of that. Almost.
Of the three so far, this one is probably the one I want to explore the most! Kinds middle of the road but I could see him creating some really cool interactions?
Comat damage means it applies to all the damage effect that happens "During combat"? So basically if you play against Dracula's Beastform you negate 2 damage already plus your defense card's value you played. Sounds kinda a counter for Drac
Yup. Trash Talk is a 4 value Feint against BF! I think the LC v Drac matchup comes down to whether or not Drac can deal enough auto damage (with his ability, Ravening, Prey Upon) to Luke before Luke just smashes through Drac's slightly weak defenses.
Luke looks like a killing machine, tbh. The disadvantages are- pretty weak sideckik whith questionable cards, but you may use them to boost, not a lot of blocks, but you may shuffle some back to deck and you always have 2 defence.
Luke Cage will win the combat since he doesn't take damage from the attack, so TT's AC effect will trigger and the turn. Counterpunch's effect will not go off since the turn is over
Invisible Man seems like a decent fighter to choose when playing versus Luke Cage. 10 auto damage is a lot, IM can play the long game and try to go for a win through fatigue. Also, Surprise Attack kind of wrecks Skin Like Titanium.
To make skin like titanium more useful they should of made it so the attacker would take damage equal to the printed value of there card so you take 2 less but if you had big Alice or Other characters with their +2 or boosted attack values. Making this card a lot more interesting and something to consider for both parties because the way it is now he can’t really afford to just take equal damage with only 13 health. Just kind of a boring card in my opinion but I’m still excited to try him out.
I think Luke needed a 'bad' block in his deck to balance out 4 value feints, 3 value regroups, and a 4 value semi-wily fighting He has great options, so having a bad one like Skin is fine imo but I agree they could have made it more useable
No I get it but like you said unless it’s early on it’s kind of a card you use as a last ditch effort I feel. It’s pretty much be a card you use if you have nothing else to play for defense and from that standpoint there shouldn’t be a card that is just that bad.
Luke vs Bigfoot should be good.

Have fun!
(PS don't feel bad, just tell your friends to watch the videos too so you're all on the same page haha)
Sweet Christmas!

another!! On the other hand, why are the subtitles disabled on this one? (I am French)
hmmm not sure
I just toggled something, can you let me know if they are enabled now?

"Am I not grazy? Who knows."
You're giving off Moon Knight vibes yourself 😌
😂🌚
I watched his deck before but I never realized that his Commanding Impact cards are "any", that's really good :)
YUP
So he counters Medusa's Stone Gaze which will no longer be a threat :O
YEP
Just gotta watch out for 5 damage from an unblocked Boosted Second Shot 😬
Hi, is there any website which explains how rules work in some tough situations during game?
docs.google.com/document/d/13b-FbPq_vuqcc3IokeHvQ2ctJaDNZZuUaZmt4uft5h0/edit#
Try this link, it takes you to a google doc archive of rulings
Does Cage take damage from the outlaw’s Highway Robbery?
Nope!
👍🏻
Sherlock Holmes "Counterpounch" vs Trash Talk..is there Sherlock after combat effect??
Luke Cage will win the combat since he doesn't take damage from the attack, so TT's AC effect will trigger and the turn. Counterpunch's effect will not go off since the turn is over
Does Trash Talk finish double atak from Volume 2 pack ?
It cancels effects, so yes!
It was a neat idea to dedicate one video for each characters instead of a very long one.
Glad you (and most people) seem to like it more
This pattern will continue for the future
