Would love to see a Part 4 Ending Scene mask since the Blank is supposedly derived from a Mask made for the movie (maybe even in the same way they painted the masks for the movie (Krylon dover white and then Patina Varnish (Maimeri) on it))
In case anyone wants to know specifics (unlikely) here it is: Get a *clear* blank, paint both the inside *and* outside with the dover white or equivalent if you're not from the US, then add all the damage to the mask (Nose etc.) then take a sponge brush and apply 12-15 coats of the Patina varnish on the mask making sure not to get any runs, then add the chevrons and finally finish it off with a (polyurethane) clear coat. for the Part 3 mask it's the same process but you add a paint cracking medium (Maimeri Picture Cracking medium) *on top* of the Clear Coat.
@@schnitzelmoerder83 If you're using the Maimeri patina varnish, giving each layer a few passes with a UV light before applying the next, you can get by with a lot less patina layers (I've done as few as 8, though 9-10 is probably better, unless you have a strong UV light).
I'm also a fan of using a paint by Games Workshop called Wraithbone; it's made for use as an undercoat on plastics *_*Mumbles something about Plastic Crack_** so there's no need to sand the mask either, and it's pretty close to Dover White.
Bonuspoints : it's available worldwide (unlike Krylon).
The blood makes a HUGE difference! Very fuckkng cool

back then I made a Part 9 mask using a large soda cup, I added a little bit of damage to the right-bottom half of the forehead holes and I think it turned out cool, I don't have it anymore because I gave it away to one of my brother's friends

I use the same screws for my masks, they safe so much time.
What are they called exactly? I tried to look for some on Amazon but didn't know what to type
Binding or post screws. The ones I use are from Lowes(The Brand is Hillman) They are in the specialty screw section in my store. The screws come in a few different sizes, so u just have to find the smaller sets.

amazing work! personally i would stress the straps aswell with sandpaper or a torch, and maybe a bit liquid rust on the ribbons

This is awesome! So happy JDF is selling masks again! Although, I got his blood paint a few years ago and it looks great at first, but after it dries it slowly turns brownish. Like real blood, which is cool, but not what I wanted for my Part 4 mask! Does his blood paint still do that, or did I just get a bad batch or something?
Oh that's good to know! So far mine is still holding at that great red you see in the video. I finished this mask a week or two ago. I'll have to keep an eye on it over the coming weeks.
@@BigHush Mine started turning brownish within a few days so maybe I just got a bad batch or he uses a new recipe or something. WILL BE BUYING HIS NEW PAINT!!!

The broken off parts and the leather bandages (Including the double nails on them) look like part 9, but the painting looks like part 7

Good question. I'm not sure. The only difference I can see is that one is warped and wider whereas the ones marked "N" don't seem to be warped.
