- Throw Back Sunday - My childhood stomping grounds welcome you wherever you maybe and whatever you’re doing. Melville Street in the city of St. George’s in the State of Grenada is the focus of this episode. Gain insights and knowledge into how it’s buildings, occupants and general esthetics was in comparison to now. My co-host Finbar Byam makes his contribution as we move along. Do you know how this street got its name? It was derived from our colonial masters the British. We are confused as to where the street begins and ends. Is it from Sendall Tunnel end or the small roundabout aka keep left to River Road / Cherry Hill? In the video we came across a sign which read Bruce Street at the intersection of Cross Street. I never knew that section of road from Sendall Tunnel to Cross Street was that Melville Street. Share, like, subscribe and comment. Thanks for watching.
