As usual, my comment to help with your RUclips algorithm goes here. I respect how much effort you are putting into your store and your channel. We always need people like yourself out there that try to educate the public. Wish I didn't live so far away. Visiting your store would be an honor.
Great series - wishing you all the best with the new store! Noticing the slurping sounds still on the frag overflow pipe - you might raise the water level an inch or two, close the gate valve a bit and see if you can get a full siphon - will be silent and no bubbles in the sump...
The Brightwell bio bricks work very well and it’s a good idea to soak it overnight in a solution of Microbacter 7 so it seeds faster. I use them in all my tanks. Your frag raceways look nice. 👍
Just a random thought but what does your landlord have or whoever you’re renting from for the location is doing for you guys if the power ever goes out? Might not be a major problem but ik here in Florida it’s the first thing we do even at my house I have a battery powered generator for my tanks in the house
Would love to see a tank cycled with hydro space purple non-sulfur bacteria, yellow snow and phytoplankton. Running real reef rock. In tank and / or in sump. Frag tanks.
The reason the product has dimples on it is that you place them on the bottom of the tank so that water can flow completely around the block and don't trap detritus

Mad Hatter,
Where did you find those coral flats? Do you have a link to a website with something similar?

Can I ask where you got those frag tanks from? Mine is Acrylic and it’s Boeing.
These would bend as well that's why the wood goes around the edge. I got them from growershouse.com
Do frag only tanks really need cycling?
Drove by the store yesterday. Great location!
We’re is it?
You're making some amazing progress!

How long after initial setup were you keeping corals in that system?

When you set up your tubs do you have to have a sump for corals or can you just keep a skimmer an a power head ?
Are those pentair tanks?
Not sure. I got them at a aquaponics store

Thanks, That most be why I have dimples on my...
Cycle faster than lance Armstrong.
Why not just run real reef rock in sump? This way you have that to sell and replace and a frag tank that is ready to go.
