Thank you ,,I enjoy your videos and the birds in the background , Lovely sounds,,I would enjoy starter videos on EPP on different shapes and on the hexie borders also and how to half the flower shapes or the diamond shapes to end the quilt top ,,and put on the binding ,,also how you put the hexies all together into the flower garden pattern with a borders along thru it,you know a solid color of hexies running around the flower garden pattern, how to attach it all together,,well anyway Thank you for your time and energy to teach us. May God Bless and keep you. RENEE
Hi Renee, Thank you for the message. I will try and answer all your questions in future videos but for now I will say that I get the straight edge for binding by catting the adge straight once it is quilted. I have a series of EPP basics videos and it is shown in there as well as in part 2 of my tiny wonky house. As far as the borders on the flower diamons....I sew the hexagons in one at a time as if I were making the flower shape bigger. The only difference is the colour. Thanks. Julie
Your latest quilt is beautiful and is coming together very quickly. I would like to know how you are going to hand quilt it. I mean are you going to follow the diamond design and how far apart will your rows be? I hope I am making sense here. Thanks again for your chat.
Hi Elaine. I am going to quilt around the centre hexagon in each diamons and then around the inside of the outer edge of the second row which will be inside the white hexagons and then along both sides of the pink. I know they are close together but it will give more symetry than just doing one side of the pink.
I really like how you create your own designs and let us follow the thought process. I'm not on FB - so I hope your tutorials will be on You Tube too!
Omg congrats on passing that contract law exam!
