Love you are back. And school has had you busy..that sure is colorful. Can still hear all the birds in the background. Your friend must of been very pleased with her gift. It was very beautiful as all of your quilts are. Thank you for keeping up on your hobbys.
Thank you very much Denise. My friend is very happy with the quilt but has not needed to use it yet as the weather here is still mild. I will keep you all updated on everything on a regular basis but not as often as previously due to not spending as much time on my hobbies these days. Thanks again.
Really found the comments regarding real estate law at the beginning to be quite interesting. The French beaded flowers are so elegant!! And the tour of your craft organizers was impressive, too! Enjoyed the video!
Hi Julie! I love what you are calling The Temperature Quit Top project, I was calling it a hexagon scrappy quilt, lol, though it's not scrappy, it just the placement of those beautiful colors, I'm LOVING THIS! Hope Your medical questions are resolved, and come around to be better than ever, good to see, hugs from Texas!
Thank you Robin. I am studying because I want to keep my mind occupied as I have no intention of using my degree if I continue long enough to get it,,,,it is also just something I have always wanted to do. Incidentally, I don't have a TV and haven't had one for many years and even when I was in hospital I never turned on the one supplied.
I'm so glad to see another vid from you! And I love the idea of the temperature quilt. I don't know how I'd quantify it; 45*F in the spring is warm, and 45* F in the fall is very chilly! :D
Thank you for the comment. Unfortunately there is no way to distinguish the temperatures unless you have different colours for each season. I just go by what month it is as in if mine says 17 degrees celcius in March it means it is still comfortable whereas that same temperature in July feels a lot colder.
My temperature quilt looks a bit weird, I'm in a group and most looking a bit random but I think when we get through summer and back to winter or vice versa it will all start to come together, I hope, fingers crossed 😊
Have you moved house if recent. There was a time when I seemed to have lost you. But have re found you and back in action. But you house looks different . Crumbs I think I maybe I would be confused as well. What are you taking law in general. My hubby when he was at uni , he passed everything else he took but couldn’t get his head around law. Yes sewing does tend to take over our life’s a bit doesn’t it,. Sorry your struggling with your hands and eyes, Your table is a lovely size to work on, you would be needing a large space to put that in. All the best with your exams .x
Thank you Karen for the comment. I moved house last November into council housing which is a lot cheaper and is long term which is what I wanted. I only have one bedroom so no real space for quilting like I used to have but it is a small price to pay. I am doing a full law degree which covers all aspects of law. I am happy to give my eyes and hands a break from sewing for the forseeable future but will continue with small crafts that I am able to do without difficulty.
@@juliethornton bless you, yes I know at times with arthritis it does give you a lot of pain l I am there with you on that one, I do however admire your courage at this point in your life taking law, , it isn’t the easiest of subjects to study when your younger, well alone later on in life. So good for you for doing it, and I wish you every success with doing it, law opens your eyes at things for sure. It was building law that my hubby struggled with, a shame as he is so so brainey it surprised me , ind you he was only 19-20 at that point then st 50 he got a distinction in business studies and economics. Which he needed for the job, he did for the next almost 20 years. You take care look after yourself and again well done. Thanks for all the tips you have given me over time.

Thank you very much. I will see the surgeon today and hopefully he can answer my questions.
Glad to hear from you…you’re an inspiration …so many just sit and watch tv instead of keeping the mind exercised…good on you…😊

Thank you Patty. All the best to you.
So glad to see you. I've been wondering about how you're doing. I like the temperature quilt you are working on. Hope to see you again soon.
Thank you Robin.....it was good to make another video.
