FYI on that micro stream. You can use the red caps on the crazy clue containers as a red diffuser. Theres an inside rim you'll need to trim down but works great & fits perfectly.

I’ve got the Protac version and a travel tube of peptobismol does same thing with no modifications and can use tube to hold other stuff. I normally carry two hair ties that acts as a retention cord on your hand to allow both hands free use.

For my streamligh, in my edc work bag I carry one of those plastic cone sections from a battery operated glow stick flashlight (coin cell battery type). I keep a spare AAA battery in a red balloon stashed inside the plastic cone section. I can slip the plastic cone over the flashlight to diffuse the light and use as glow stick/wand. I can also then slip the red balloon over that to make it red. Nice little modification to change it up based on scenarios.

That belt lanyard trick also works well with a scout knife or victoria knife. I got my grandsons set up like that . If it fall out of there pocket it not gone forever. If they need to use it. It super fast off and on the belt

I was working my way to my hunting spot last fall and it was pitch black out and I was having trouble navigating. So I pulled out the microstream and tried to use it to illuminate my path. Those 50-ish lumens of white light on my fully dark adjusted eyes was like STARING INTO A SUPER NOVA. First time I'd tried that and I was shocked at how bright it was.

а также можно на него намотать немного изолента электрика и так получается, что если понадобится что то починить у тебя будет небольшой но запас изолента

well i've been doing this for a while now. Improvised Diffusers and cordage = " buzz saw signal" One can braid the line together with zipper chain sinnet and expand it as needed.

Good idea in concept. But there is a strangle risk there with the lanyard. Instead of the overhand knot, you can use a taughtline hitch to join the line with an open end on the other side. If you pull that tight, it will only slide off under considerable force- but less force than strangling force!

Connect the ends of the paracord to a small thin O-ring, it will hold secure and act as a break-away if it gets snagged

I never would've guessed putting tape over the lens would allow that much light to come out of it and change its color significantly enough. That's usin yer noggin.... 🤓

I carry a streamline everyday stylus pro 2 triple a battery and you can put the micro stream hat clip that's on that little one and you can put it on any of the pro stream pros style and what how we used to keep retention of those on to the flashlight is use a piece of heat shrink tubing the electricians use to supplies wire with you can buy it in green blue red orange black get it to fit a 5/8 diameter which is a diameter of the lot cut it slip it over the clip hold it to the flashlight shrink it on there with a cigarette lighter but don't come off but you can also use the color to eat drink to put it on your your flashlight you'll be able to find it I put yellow on all of mine cuz my flashlights are black keep on at work same way so I know which one is my flashlight because everybody carries the same one a lot of people grind because my EDC flashlight is only 65 lumens but in the dark any lights better than no line I've lived in Southeastern Oklahoma where there's no street lights there's no lights on cell phone is not going to get you by you need a light in the dark get in the house walk around the house at 9 getting your truck truck keys work on your truck anything at all works cuz if you need a lot you need a lot another thing is you can put heat strings on the back of the flashlight and use it as a bike so you're not biting on the aluminum you can't beat the money for streamline yeah it's only one mode it's not you know two or strobe or nothing like that but the best flashlights 2016 place the cat three times yeah I could have bought a new flashlight by now but never lets me down great great idea.
