Talk to any Canadian that travels all the time. They avoid air Canada like the plague. It’s by far the worst airline in the world. Strand you in places, giving you ticket vouchers instead of tickets, cancelling flight because their not 100% full blaming it on weather so there no refund. No customer complaint line. Loose baggage all the time too.

Bear in mind that flight delay/on-time metrics can be gamed. If your flight actually taxis for takeoff 20 minutes late but lands on time, there was extra time built into the flight schedule. If the plane pulls away from the jet way on time, that starts the flight crew's pay (yay!) But it can appear to be an on-time departure, even if the plane sits just inches from the jet way with the door closed for several minutes.

True but those types of “delays” to takeoff and returning are typically ATC issues moreso than the airlines.

@pack hackers, can you guys do a review on best Business Travel bags? Something that pairs well with a carry-on.
Laptop, jacket, chargers, cables, snacks and water bottle holder 32oz?
I’ve been searching the interwebs but not much luck so, I thought I would ask the best!

Maybe you should change the title to , The Best Airlines to fly with in 2024 ( IN or from AMERICA ) your missing out Airlines like Emirates and other international airlines , just mentioning Singapore and KLM is hardly a large list

    • @VirtousStoic
      @VirtousStoic 3 месяца назад

They are an American channel if u don't know that that's ur fault
Emirates and Etihad don't fly to as many cities therefore they are useless. And they have weird flight time
But that isn't their fault countries do this to limit people from using Etihad and emirates it's a form of monopolizing other airlines

My favorite airlines (international) is ANA. They are awesome. Great customer service. I feel like they're the gold standard of airlines. I always come back to the US and walk in a US airline and I'm bummed out. US airlines suck haha.

I totally agree with you, @Dracomies! I flew with ANA through Japan and had an amazing experience in *ECONOMY* .
The service and quality were unparalleled from start to finish.
Boarding made so much more sense, from window to aisle and front to back, so there were no hiccups or traffic when taking a seat.
The flight attendants even memorized my name, drink, and food preferences, which made the whole experience feel so personalized.
The difference compared to US airlines was like night and day (Sorry, Delta, even though you’re the best we have).
ANA is more than just a flight; it’s an experience before you even experience where you’re going. They truly set the gold standard for international travel!🏆

ANA and JAL are absolutely amazing. Right there with Singapore Airlines. My top four would be Singapore, ANA, JAL and Cathay. ...with ANA and Singapore fighting for top spot. American Carriers have improved a lot. Been very impressed with Delta ...Air Canada is currently a disgrace on APAC flights...better domestically but still needs to up their service big time.

I like Alaskan Airlines. TheAlaskan awards system is easy to understand and I get great value from them.
I got stuck once because of storm. My first flight was with Alaskan and then I was flying American. Alaskan Airlines basically said "oh yah, things happen. Lets rebook you for free" American Airlines charged me 150 USD for rebooking.

Singapore is excellent, though actually not out of the ordinary for Asian airlines (except for those those out of mainland China). JAL, ANA, Korean Air, Cathay Pacific, etc. are all also great to fly on. I usually fly with JAL, which is great, until you book a flight that is a code-share operated by AA. The difference when flying on a US airline is stark. I suppose it's not so bad on flights within the US which are relatively short, but when you're flying long-haul flights, these differences become more than just annoyances.

Singapore is great and I have flown with them many times. However, it can be a long haul from the West Coast of the US to Singapore. They were ideal when I was living in Australia, though. :). Japan Airlines breaks routes from the US to Asia down into more manageable segments and offers a great Economy product.

Used to fly Delta from SEA to the US and back and managed to earn points for a free RT ticket from NYC to Florida. It was nice and the food and services were okay. I've been trying out other airlines but if I were given the budget, I think I would go back to flying with Delta.

I absolutely loved Singapore airlines when I flew from Shanghai to London. I'd missed my flight out of Shanghai on a different airline, but Singapore got me out of China within hours. My flight from Singapore to London had been cancelled, so they put me up in an awesome hotel with a free 5 min international phone call. When I flew to London, I got 3 seats to myself, drinks every 20 min, ice cream, and a packet with socks, toothbrush, toothpaste, eye mask, and other amenities. My other fav has been Hawaiian airlines, although they're not quite as awesome as they used to be.

Thank you for your time and posting. So, you go to a restaurant to enjoy a nice steak. You ask for it to be rare, but a third of the time the steak is well done. But that is acceptable. :) Most comfortable; snacks, wifi, and extra legroom. What do snacks and wifi have to do with comfort?
