She’s so obviously being intellectually dishonest. She knows what averages are. She knows men are objectively physically stronger than women. She’s simply being stubborn and refuses to concede to elementary level knowledge.
You might be giving her way too much credit by calling her "intellectually dishonest." She may very well just be stupid. Flat out stupid. No one sits there with a straight face arguing that a square is a circle unless they're dumb.
Because women hate acknowledging they are wrong. In a lot of arguments or debates they will almost never concede but move the goalpost or use strawman arguments or point to anecdotal evidence based on how they feel to justify their stance.
They say men having an ego is bad...but I'd argue female ego is even worse
@@yourvenparianen5390 Because men know there is respect earned by admitting you're wrong. Perhaps women don't grant respect when someone admits they're wrong, therefore they know nothing of it.
Women believe an awful lot, but haven't been convinced of anything. They prove this when you ask them to explain or justify their position. What's essentially being asked, is for them to walk you through what convinced them of it. But since they haven't been convinced of their position, they just believe it, they can't justify their position.

As older guy here (55) . I think that these days of telling young girls that you can do anything a man can do BS at a young age, and that there is no difference between man and woman, watching years of TV /movies where a woman is beating a guy in a fight is creating future metal health patients.

The difference between men and women and the standards they are held to is that if a man behaved this dishonestly he would be ridiculed absolutely mercilessly, but women are treated a little with kid gloves and her feelings are taken into account when criticizing her position. Im 5' 8" , about 145 pounds. I was in an abusive relationship with someone about my same size.. with all my adrenaline from fear, I still could not get him off of me. Even with the fear of him killing me. I tried with everything I had. I have never considered myself a physically weak person, I'm not a weak person but he was stronger

Grip strength is like the worst way to measure any sort of physical capability. Literally the worst. I used to be a gym rat and no one in the gym even mentioned it.

I think it's funny when they try to make it all more intellectual than it is and try to throw big words in there so that they sound intelligent. Well it's so hard to quantify because of all of the different variables that the blah blah blah blah blah. A high school boys soccer team wiped the floor with an pro women's soccer team. Serena Williams would not even place in the men's top 500 best players. There is no comparison. The average man is stronger than about 98% of women so no it's not crazy. You have to be exceptionally strong and exceptionally fast as a woman to even come close to an average man's strength.

Its nice you girls sticking up for her. But this is an adult debate and you want a coddling, LA la enviroment. I'm very observant, and this is what I got from her side; I think she sees strength as not an objective evaluation. she sees it as a subjective evaluation depending on what kind of situation you're put at (which probably has a little sense when it comes to real street fight or something. Still wrong though, if we're talking about "average" fights, but at least she's unto something).
And Brian failed to convinced her a lot of times because he kept using analogy of sport which is all about fairness and rules, that would lead to more of objective evaluation. That's why she kept saying, "yes, I concede to that part, but not the entirety of 'men is generally stronger than women' because sport is just one part of situation and the result might be different when the situation is different". Because again, she sees strength as in real fight situation that could be subjective depending on the actual situation.
Brian should have tried to follow her train of thoughts first and stop using using sport as analogy which is clearly not working for her. He should probably use real life fight as example. Such as: "do you think it would be a problem if MMA let men and women fight in the same league? Do you think if a women MMA champion for some reason met a men runner up or even third place on MMA champion, had some kind of arguments that ended up in a street fight, do you think this woman would stand a chance?" or to use more relatable example would be: "Do you think if you, average women who barely go to gym (like she said she was) if right now you have to fight another average men who also barely go to gym that has similar build like you (maybe he can point out one of his crew or something), who do you think will win? Honestly?"
To the lady who says she fights and her sensei's put her in her place also consider this: in sparring you never go 100%, what percentage would you say you are putting in? And then what percentage do you think he is putting in?
So grateful youre like the only intelligent one here, admitting the facts. But consider it just to further the point because the number is likely 60-80% for the girl and like 15-35% for the guy

It not even something to debate😂 we the family is training at the gym. My son is 18 and my daughter is 15. I got my son to train regularly now but in total over the past years it has not been many visits to the gym. However I think he surpassed his mother's strength at abut 15 and today he is only weighing 46 kg. So just drop the case.
