Hope you enjoy. S&W is an interesting roaster based off so many of the coffees they source. Will certainly be interesting to find out how the Australian coffee scene feels about them. Cheers 🇦🇺☕️
That would have to be the Niguse Gemeda Slow Shade from Wes Ngopi, but we only had a sample of it. After that it would be the Birhanu Dido natural Ethiopia from Wes Ngopi that we did review. They're doing an exceptional job bringing out the cleaner berry feel in a lot of their natural Ethiopians
The Kaguyu AA Kenya was our favorite from the coffees we'd reviewed from them earlier this year. Both anaerobic honey Burundis performed well in the blind taste test too
@@CoffeeReviews After seeing this comment i opened my bag of Kaguyu and it's rather roasty and tastes like burnt rubber. Not sure if i got a bad batch, but very unpleasant as a v60.
@JohnnyRipess our Kaguyu was roasted on the Stronghold a while ago, unsure it they stuck with it going forward. We're simultaneously working on a Guatemalan coffee that feels notably more developed than any of the previous ones we've had from them up to this point
Appreciate the feedback Nathan. That Coffea Circulor version came during their slightly inconsistent period, but it seems like they are planning a lot of things with Galo going forward (don't know if you've seen they have some interesting releases out now). Either way, what we keep taking away is that these Cruz Loma coffees will be better in the coming years
I had a couple of really fantastic, level-5 floral and level-5 sweetness cups out of this Cruz Loma coffee from S&W. But it did drop off fairly quickly for me and there was quite a bit of variability in the drop off period, similar to what Julian described.
I've got a ton of their coffee resting at the moment. Believe i was the first to bring their coffee into Australia. Looking forward to it.

What's your favorite coffee this year with blueberry notes?

It didn't live up to the hype for me either. It was good but not great. I did like it a bit more than the CC version, tho.

@animeanytime wow, level 5 florality. Interesting. Would have loved to have experienced that as well. Appreciate the feedback as always
