The best part about operation anchorage was the gauss rifle
And free power armor training early on
Nope, the Chinese stealth armor was the best part.
The Gauss rifle and the early power armor training sealed the deal
Plus, the best fucking armor... DR wise
if only the dlc itself wasn't complete shit, I don't play for the rewards I just play for the fun and it wasn't fun
Best DLC by far is Point Lookout since it allows you to "explore", which after all is the main point of Fallout 3. The Pitt would be second because of its interesting story. Op. Anchorage and Mothership Zeta are just bad shoot-'em-ups. Broken Steel is a patch rather than a DLC, it continues the main story which after Tranquility Lane is quite dull.
I made the mistake of buying the regular version of this game instead of game of the year edition.
The best part of the dlcs when you are finally get back to the wasteland and you dont have to go back. I first started motership zeta and it was so bad i wanted to kill myself.
I returned the original then bought dlc
It's just that the game is really old, I got it for seven dollars and each dlc costs five. The goty edition costs 15, so it would be much cheaper to buy that rather than each indivisual dlc.
Vault Dweller for the past 8 years I never knew I had Dec I had game of year 😂😂😂
Vault Dweller haha bigest mistake of your life
1.Point lookout (lots to explore, great quests and good loot)
2.The pitt (love the setting, storyline and cool new weapons)
3.broken steel ( raise to level 20 to 30, continue after finishing the campaign and like fighting against the enclave)
4.mother zeta ( like exploring the alien ship but so much combat and drags on too long)
5.operation anchorage ( the loot was really good but it was too short and just had the least fun out of all the dlc's)
overall I think all the dlc's were good but this is my list
My list.
I'd put Broken steele at 1 and tied with Point Lookout. And the rest is same...
1) Point Lookout
2) The Pitt
3) Broken Steel
4) Mothership Zeta
5) Operation Anchorage
1) Point Lookout- really fun quests, huge environment to explore, terrifying, emphasis on player choice, everything I want in a fallout game
2) Broken Steel- Raises your level cap, fighting the enclave is always a blast, great loot
3)The Pitt- interesting story, downright fucked up at times, city's really cool, does drag on a bit though
4) Mothership Zeta- Boring. You spend majority of the time running around killing aliens, feels like a chore to finish
5) Operation: Anchorage- Absolute worst, repetitive, too much emphasis on combat when the combat is the worst part of fallout 3, only good part is getting access to the armory when you finish
Mike Macchione good words friend!
that 's exactly my point!
I like all of them
1) broken steel
2)the Pitt
3)operation Anchorage
4)point lookout
5)mothership zeta
why point lookout at 4th? I'd put it in 2....
I don't get why people hate mothership zeta it is literally the best in every way
1) *The Pitt* - Loved the loot, setting, moral choice and aesthetic look of Pittsburgh.
Also hardly any bugs for me which was wonderful.
2) *Broken Steel* - Loved how much the wasteland was changed (visually mostly), the loot (Tesla Cannon, Hellfire Armor), the war like attacks on the Enclave were cool too.
3) *Operation Anchorage* - Loved the loot (hated how most of it was only accessible through glitches), loved the snowy landscape, hated the linearity and prevention of looting corpses.
4) *Point Lookout* - Liked the loot (Double Barrel Shotgun, Backwater Rifle), loved the Exploration, hated the glitches (this is why it's 4th) this DLC featured the 'Bermuda Triangle' (a term I invented to describe an area between 3 locations where the game always crashes) between Marguerite's Shack, Haley's Hardware and Lil' Tyke Playhouse, This DLC also corrupted my save file. (thankfully I had more saves)
5) *Mothership Zeta* - Liked most of the loot, loved the clean, cold and mechanical aesthetic, hated the focus on combat, hated how damaging the weapons were (my Chinese Stealth Armor would break after a few hits).
*This is my own personal OPINION based on my own PERSONAL experience with each of these DLCs.*
why people hate mothership zeta so much ? That's my favourite DLC , and my less favourite dlc is Operation Anchorage because it doesn't feel like fallout , it feel like call of duty ripooff with third person perspective and time freezing
Mothership zeta is bae
Mothership Zeta is awesome cuz it's just like prison!
I agree Mothership Zeta was good, but I think the reason why it's poorly received is because it's a big DLC that's really far out there. I mean Aliens were just rumored till Fallout 3 technically and then all of a sudden you get kidnapped, take over there ship, and destroy another ship. Don't get me wrong I thought it was badass, but to some people they may have saw it as an over the top decision. You're also right Operation Anchorage was the least enthusiastic DLC, don't get me wrong I love anything that is Fallout, but this one just didn't give me the resource war that I was looking for.
I like it, but it's still the worst dlc.
Andhy Rheza just don't make sence in a post apocalyptic world but it is good o won't lie
I loved the Pitt because you could make a lot of heavy choices.............man Werner put up a good fight
I thought Point Lookout was the most interesting, next to the Pitt
1.broken steel
2.point lookout
3.the pitt
4.operation anchorage
5.mothership zeta
1Point lookout
2The pit
3 Broke steel
4 operation
5 mother ship zeta
I liked all them.
Great video have an awesome night! God bless!
this is the order the dlc's came out
I realy enjoyed playing: The Pitt, was an great DLC.
1. Point lookout- the area was expansive and was a breath of fresh air after so many hours of exploring the dreary Capital Wasteland. The story had some good twists and turns and the weapons introduced were great.
2. The Pitt- I love a good raider DLC. The storyline for the Pitt was excellent and really had you pay attention to both sides of the conflict as both were morally gray. The weapons and armor were cool. Trogs still give me nightmares to this day.
3. Broken Steel- Made for some good post game content and fixed some plot holes in the game. It always makes for a good time seeing the fruits of your labor in the wasteland.
4. Operation Anchorage- The simulation was a blast to run through even though it was short. The main selling point were the weapons though. I only wish it was all easier to repair.
5. Mothership Zeta- I'ma be real. Hate this DLC. It's really the only one that I dislike with a passion. The maps are cramped, the companions are weak and I end up killing them all for their outfits, and the idea of aliens in the fallout series being a serious non easter egg force that possibly caused the great war was bullshit. On top of everything, the weapons and armor were nothing special and most of the spaceship becomes inaccessible after you beat the story. Fuck this DLC.
Operation anchorage would have worked better in fallout four because of the combat system
Point Lookout-That atmosphere...
Mothership Zeta-Weird but funny
The Pitt-Great setting and story
Broken Steel-Let me destroy Citadel
Operation Anchorage-Boring
You put them in the same order as the game of the year edition listed them on the case's cover.
1) Operation anchorage
2) point lookout
3) broken steel
4) the pit
5) mothership zeta
*Mothership Zeta
thanks
Chenzilla567 lol you replied 2 years later Holy shit
Chenzilla567 i don't think Anchorage is that Bad but in the end it got nothing i loved at fallout
1.Broken steel
2.point lookout
3.the Pitt
4.mothership zeta
5.operation anchorage.
When I was 7 and first got fallout 3 I had always wanted to play mothership zeta. Idk I just want to say that
True
operation anchorage made the character so overpowerd with the gary 23 glitch and the scrap metal glitch u get infinite ammo sick ak 47 prewar and power that breaks after like billions of hits like the ak and infinite stimpacks from the scrap metal glitch but my favorite is mothership zeta i just like aliens
*power armor
1.The Pitt
2.Point Lookout
3.Broken Steel
4.Operation Anchorage
5.Mothership Zeta
You made my thoughts words.
Here's my list:
1: Broken Steel
2: Mothership Zeta
3: Operation: Anchorage
4: Into the Pitt
5: Point Lookout
1) mothership zeta, 2.) the pitt, 3) point lookout, 4)broken steel, 5) operation anchorage.
You accidentally wrote your list backwards.
+Elisha Hahn nope its all what i think is better. operation anchorage is shit
EXSPECIALLY RoYaL7 In my opinion broken steel and operation anchorage are the best and mothership zeta is the worst.
I only just finished Mothership Zeta and was planning to explore the wasteland some more before playing more dlc, but seeing things about Point Lookout's creepy atmosphere and all was what made me want to play Fallout 3 instead of New Vegas first. Now I am surprised to see it so far down this list, why is that?
I just start the fallout 3 should I go for dlc or first finish normal game which one best for expierience the game?
Fail Funny Fart finish the normal game. then start dlc. that’s what i did. but this was posted 4 years ago. and i’m assuming your already done both. Soooo let me know what you did!
Broken Steel: Continues the game, more fun to fight the Enclave, cool BoS stuff that leads to them being badass in FO4.
Operation Anchorage: Lore-Expanding, epic first-hand account of the defining battle of Fallout
The Pitt: spooky, cool downtown setting, awesome new guns, reminds me of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia for some reason
Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta: Never played either of them, but I picked up the GOTY Edition on Steam so I gotta play em soon
How accurate was the anchorage simulation though
1- the pitt
2- point lookout
3- operation anchorage
4- mothership zita
5- broken steel
1.Operation: Anchorage
2.Broken Steel
3.The Pitt
4.Point Lookout
5.Mothership zeta
This is hard to chose but I say 1 anchorage 2 the Pitt 3 mothership zeta 4 broken steel 5 point lookout
I agree with all your choices but the 1st and 2nd one the pitt is my favriot dlc and anchorage was my 2nd favriot
1 broken steel 2 the pitt 3 operation anchorage 4 mother ship zeta 5 point lookout.
1 broken steel
2 point lookout
3 the pitt
4 mothership zeta
5 operation anchorage
1 broken steel 2 op.anchorage 3 membership zeta 4 the Pitt 5 point lookout
Sorry but i disagree with this list. its just my opinion all are great but from best to worst it would be
1. Operation Anchorage
2. MotherShip Zeta
3. The Pitt
4. Point Lookout
5. Broken Steel
Broken Steel being at the bottom because it should have been a part of the main game in the first place. Mothership Zeta gave a lot to explore and is a unique DLC compared to the rest.
I did the operation anchorage 3 1/2 to 4 hours
i.m new in fallout , but i just finish the broken steel part , i think i have the edicion with all dlc,s, but after i finish that quest the game stops , and i cant play more , simply makes continue and starts the finish part again , i.m i doing anything wroung ? cant i do the other dlcs ?
Reload a save that is farther back do them all then finish it
Buba Jack
thats what i made , but dont seems to have no sence -.-
Do you even speak english its hard to understand you.
+Buba Jack broken steel is fallout 3 1.5 basically. its the bow, that raps up the story. do the other dlc 1st
did you install the dlcs from a second disk?
Really good editing work looks a lot like a t
railer
those are trailers
really?
fuck me
+Aextise wtf
Buy game of the year edition to get all of them
The broken steel doc looks like the normal game?
I just realized I started the game with the broken steel dlc's and I thought Italy was the normal gamec
Point Lookout has the best quests, content and exploration, but the Swampfolk are bastards.
The Pitt brings new factions and a semi-complicated choice. I would place it higher if it was a quest or two longer.
Broken Steel increases the level cap to 30 and it makes the game continue after the ending, but tLC cannot fix the poor main story.
Operation Anchorage is too liner, but its worth the playthrough due to the Gauss Rifle, Winterized T-51b and the Chinese Stealth Suit.
Mothership Zeta made fans ask a simple question that destroys the lore of the franchise. Did the Aliens start the Great War? If this DLC is Non-Canon, it wouldn't bother me as much.
i like mothership zeta the most
my list mother ship zeta, operation anchorage, broken steel and yea
for me i rank them out of what i find most useful in loot, actions, etc
1. Operation Anchorage
2. Broken Steel
3. The Pitt
4. Mothership Zeta
5. Point Lookout
Stitch swith 5 with 4 thats my list
Anyone else HATED the Pitt? Bethesda tried to have the morally grey concept Black Isle/Obsidian (which even in NV is kind of flawed) would do, and they failed... BIG TIME! I'm sorry, but if I'm going to justify Slavery for something "noble", Ishmael might as well join Caesar's Legion. It's perhaps the worst Fallout expansion I've ever played. Worse than Nuka-World for FO4 on a GOOD playthrough.
Anchorage and Mothership zeta felt boring to me
I liked the putt the most 🤷🏻♂️
I was gonna buy broken steel and mother ship zeta but i see alot people put it last so it must not be as good as i thought so ill just get broken steel and the pitt
Point lookout is the best dlc for 3, but even that isn't as good as the new Vegas dlc. New Vegas is the best for dlc.
+DinkleBurg Games i like point lookout the best and id recommend it especially if you want more of an open world mothership zeta isnt much of an open world (your aboard a ship)
+ryan ruland Do you continue with your character from the main story or are they all like individual games (the DLCs I mean)?
+leonardo h you continue and carry over everything theyre mashed together
ryan ruland Thanks :)
I never actually liked Broken Steel, it wasn't that good. The only reason I have it to play past the end
I thought the Pitt was the best
To be honest there wasn't really a bad dlc for this game
Even the worst dlc in 3 and NV was better than anything in 4.
i know but nuka cola world wasn't too bad i thought they could,ve done better but still
Chef Far Harbor is better than any other FO dlc
Calob Bramschreiber No. All of New Vegas' dlc was better than far harbour, and The Pitt, PointLookout and Broken steel are also better than fsr harbour.
From what I've done, the other fallout DLC were great but Far Harbour is still easily better
IN MY OPINION THE WORST ONE IS POINT LOOKOUT I PLAYED IT AND ITS FUCKING BORING
I hated the pitt soo much ;P
Im from the future ooooooooooooo, and btw i dont play fallout 3 anymore but, *THE PITT* WAS THE BEST SO STFU.. Thats all i had to say, Thank u.
MAKE OUT HILL • 87 years ago the Pitt was trash ngl
broken steel is the worst in my opinion
Naethan Carter good point
+K Gleason and didnt it raise the max level to 30, or somethin
ad victoriom
I think I'll give them a miss. They're all just dumb arcade shooters...
