Backup Trinket effect looks cool, though. Rolling up with your own posse/entourage is fun and visually flavorful. Not everyone plays for optimized min/maxing.
Which is completely valid response, players know me as the min/max/highest potential player but if they told me they use the penthouse backup because they want the female bodyguards I wouldn't fault them.
@@ObsidianChill I just used the Atlantis henchmen backup trinket to see how it looked , but my play-style favors the Sidekick over the Henchmen.. My Utility belt looks like this Slot 1: Boo Junior, Baby Boo(mainly for the shield) or Tom-Bot(Depends if the toon has a ghost or not) Slot 2: Sidekick(shield, some healing and power restoration) Slot 3: Orbital Strike Slot 4: Supply Drop The Supply Drop gets rotated out to handle certain consumables Doomsday probiotics, Starro quicklime and the like Dealing with Terra, the Orbital Strike gets rotated out for a DPS trinket or maybe Dampening Shield consumable. If I'm using a tank toon, the Compartment Trinket from Central City You can have a combat pet out at the same time(Boos, Pumpkins, Servo, and so on) as a Sidekick or Henchmen summon So the real question is what is better? Sidekick or Henchmen.
ShinDangaioh sidekick is better for surviving, you get some health and power back and a shield st the start. Henchman is only good for crappy damage. It’s damage that really makes no difference in the span of a raid compared to other damage you can do
I think it's still smart to use them as an extra trinket instead of not at all. You can pop an orbital, supply, trinket, pet trinket (boo or lex corp bot), and backup and be carrying out A LOT of damage. To top it off as well you could use the boobility belt with boos and backup and watch the crap load of orange numbers take over too.
OG MeNToR™ when there is a break in the fight or before a boss fight sure you can summon it but you have to be able to switch back right away to your main pet trinket without any time loss fighting. Think about the dmg the total dmg from the back ups are 30-50k and think about hitting just 1 power on your loadout would do the same damage as an entire 4min cooldown backup. 1 sonic cry power used on 3 targets has already done more damage then your entire backup trinket would.
I have a question of the testing. Are the back up tested in single target or multiple? Also, I know players that swear by dropping supply drop and dragging the pets thru to buff them. Has buffing them &/or sidekicks been tested? Having back up for Hive Elite for the 2 last boss fights, where supplies & orbitals are not used because of raid mechanics, would be one instance to use them. Another situation and one tradeoff from damage, would be having 2-3 extra aggro catchers or things for a boss to hit.
knightyper99 all the trinkets were tested on the 3 sparring targets. Dropping a supply has zero impact on backup/henchman or any other pet besides fury and crystal. In fights like have where you have a open slot I would rather use the breakout trinket so a) can be freed from any control effects and b) can use it as another clipping power to use as backup won’t clip your powers. In terms of aggro, rarely is that going to come into play as they won’t aggro but can be used as a target but so can the boos
@@ObsidianChill Thanks for the timely reply. I will have to test dragging 4 boos thru the supply drop to see if they get buffed & back up. Like I said, some people swear they do more damage that way. It's possible in alerts they do more damage with a supply drop vs. sparing targets. As for a break out trinket, I never use that any more. Regualar trinket, a boo to cycle half way thru cool down of regular trinket, supply & orbital for dps. Ask ice tank I don't need a break out trinket as shattered restraints is a a break out. I use the summer defense tank trinket & that taunts/aggros also. I also use side kick as a tank since it gives you HL shield. Everyone has a little different way of doing things. Even for Maximasing DPS : What % your Pets does Versus your personal Damage outcome? I dont wanna fight with a boo or a Sea monster sides me it look bad and just to gain maybe 5% damage total in my raid? :D
you'd have to know roughly how long you are in a raid for, so if a pet does 90k dmg every cooldown which is 120seconds or 2 min if you are in a raid for 30min and constantly re-summoning it you could be looking at around 1.3mil on your scorecard just from the pet damage.
@@ObsidianChill ok but in 30min i do 15 million my pet is about 5% i can find a better pet to go 10% of my total damage. but i have question about : ZEUS ORBITAL TRINKET : is it worthy? . Usual orbital does 110 000 damage How about Zeus?
Ultimate Solarion yea there will be situations where the pet is a dmg loss, if you have to stop your rotation in the middle of a fight to summon a pet that’s a few seconds being lost of dmg where the pets dmg won’t make up for that most of the time which is sometimes while I’ll wait on the pet summon for a break or clip it with a soda. For the Zeus orbital it only does extra damage in Amazon fury part III content outside of that it does the exact same. It’s mainly just for looks
Your spreadsheet mentions the Slayer's Sunken Rune twice, once for melee and the other for ranged. Are there 2 versions of this pet or is there some way to actually have the pet do either range or melee damage? Also, thank you for all this information, this will definitely help people improve their LO's.
It is still 1 pet but depending on the position you are to the npc the summer event trinket will do different damage. So if you are in melee range like within 5 meters and you summon it and you are fighting there it will do melee based acid spit attacks but if you are mid or long range when you summon it and fight from distance it won't do those attacks so it does less damage. The same with Robot Sidekick it does different attacks when its in melee range vs long range.
Now I really feel like a fourth artifact slot should be coming up after this might users will have four slots all roles will have four slots and precision users will have for slot and they all will have uses for artifacts I thing it’ll be beneficial even though it’s free stats

The summer event trinket is the best but since you can only get it 1 time a year and its past you may not have it in your inventory.
