Refreshing, giving underrated pedals some love.
As a guitar player who also had surgery this year, hats off to you. Great video - thanks.
Appreciate it man 🙌🏻 thank you, and I hope you have healed too
You are quickly becoming a fav RUclipsr to me. To your credit, I bought Lightspeed, and Protein in one week
You're too kind man! There are plenty better RUclipsrs out there 😂 awesome man! Enjoy the pedals, they're two of my favourites
Dipswitch Demos just plugged in the Lightspeed. It is all that. Very good.
Jackson that was great would like to see your favorite Fuzz pedals thank you
Great show as always Jackson. How about top preamp/boost/overdrive pedals next...? Cheers!
Great idea!
I've been looking all day for the right pedal. The flamma reverb is my latest because it was $65 on Amazon i need something that can recreate a ps1 startup sound
How can such a amazing youtube chanel have that less attention?
Thank you so much 🙌🏻
I have a vintage boss delay and i love it
Awesome! I just picked up a vintage DSD-2 and I love it
suuper awesome!😍
super solid list. I really love my dr scientist atmosphere but i really wish it had stereo outs.
I've never used a stereo rig but I can imagine that the lack of stereo outs is a frustration
I love the Waza Craft delay. It's easily one of my favorite pedals on my board.
It's so killer!
I have a Walrus SLÖ multi texture reverb pedal in front of the Walrus Mako series stereo D1 delay. It’s glorious
Very cool combo
Subbed! Great content mate
Thanks! Welcome to the channel
the pedal that i have used ever since it came out recently is the KMA Machines 'Cirrus' - its a delay + reverb with three different types of each and you can change the order of them and it had a real heavy emphasis on using an exp to control any of the parameters you want :3
Oh man I'd love to try the KMA stuff. The Cirrus especially sounds epjc
Can't believe Dr Scientists went through all that trouble and then made a mono reverb pedal.
Nice!!!
what were the settings to create that sounds on the first pedal?
yo what about 5 weirdest pedals you've played? This was a cool vid tho, actually wondering something about the Native Audio Ghost ridge - have you ever played an Earthquaker devices Ghost Echo? Also somewhere between a reverb and a delay pedal, but its one of my absolute favorites, just really curious how the two would stack up to each other, seem pretty similar
Definitely up for doing the weirdest pedals! I have never tried the Ghost Echo so wouldn't be able to comment on how it compares to the Ghost Ridge 🤷🏼♀️ sorry dude
Flashback 2 is my fav delay pedal
Where did you get your glasses? Cool style that is coming back
Thanks man! They're RayBan Clubmasters or something like that
great demo thanks and nice tasteful playing for a one armed guitarist
hope it gets well soon
Thanks Anthony! All healed now ☺️
Dr Scientist doesnt get enough love on youtube scene , they seem GRREAT
I totally agree with you
I really like that channel of yours...
Thanks Matthias!
can you use the fender with a voice microphone?
I use an Alesis midi verb unit a black star delay a MOOER ambient and a boss tera echo x
Cool sounds!
How would you compare the Fender delay + reverb to something like the SA Collider? I like the idea of having everything in one pedal with presets, but the Collider is kinda just a Jack of All Trades, Master of None. I can't get anything GREAT out of it...
Really? U can't get any great sounds out of the collider? Strange
Those sounds from the chase bliss audio sound incredible. Shame about the price. Anyone suggest something in the 100/200 pound region. I know the rainbow machine is an option. Anything else?
Did you start playing again?
I’m a keyboardist and I’ve been on the lookout for a tremolo effect that can synch to midi clock with a DAW-less setup. The very first effect in this video is the sort I’m seeking. MIDI synch is a requirement. Any suggestions?
Gosh that's a difficult question, I'm not too clued up on midi. The Dr Scientist Atmosphere is the effect you're hearing and that pedal does have midi capabilities so that might be your answer. Worth finding out if you can sync it with a midi clock, manual is available online
I have a line 6 multi effect pedal that has dual midi inputs/output. I have yet to use any of the midi functionality but what you're suggesting might be possible with it. It's called the m3 I think. I paid 100 for mine.
Stone Deaf FX Tremotron
Could you use the waza craft for a bass as well?
Totally
Dang,I'm very very sorry that you can't play right now.man, that's gotta be super rough.i send shit-tons of great luck your way.
Thanks dude! It was tough for sure. All healed now and back to playing
Hi, great channel! What happened to your hand?
Cut it on a glass at work! All healed up now. Thank you! Welcome to the channel.
The fender pedals are great however I think the type of player who wants a big delay/reverb unit with modulation also wants a really cool looking pedal or at least something visually inspiring/makes you wanna play.
I gotta say the fender pedals don't really do that.
I have the Marine Layer Reverb. I only use the modulated reverb pretty much maxed out for an amazing wash. Paid £79 for it. Insane.
Bargain! The marine layer is awesome
Dipswitch Demos oh it realllllllllllllllly is. I just wired everything up to a Buzz Electronics switcher yesterday and it sounds even better. Almost don't need to bother with extra delay for ambient wash.
Awesome dude! Sounds like a great setup.
Dipswitch Demos subnup plus 4 delays and the MLR. twitter.com/tjthebrooks/status/1295350832184033285?s=21
Sounds unreal! Nice amp choice too... Very underrated
You need to try the Nocturne El Pescadoro
I do!
I use one for harmonica, not cheap £320 with import duty
No zoom ms70cdr?? Simply the best for the money
Ive got the fender marine layer reverd..its better than blue sky by fuckin far.. and fender rules
Im amazed Joyo (forgot its name) isnt here
This is a really nice vid!
Res = Resonance
Wow. Awesome. Subbed. Hope you get back to your guitar asap
Thanks man! All healed now and back to playing
Lots of talking, but the little snippets of playing are somewhat helpful. Thanks.
Poor Fender! Their previous pedal releases ruined it for them. They paid the price for going mediocre design and promotion.
Always remember. This problem with your hand is only for a short period of time. I am suffering from rheumatoid Arthritis and I have big problems playing guitar. And I am only 37. Playing since 26 years. I really don't wish that to any guitarist. Be happy you don't have this :) thx for the video though.
Thanks for that man. I wish you all the best
I really enjoyed how you spoke so much about the pedals you really didn't know that much about and reinforced that point by showing us very little about the pedal... you don't know that much about. Btw, that's the most phony British accent I've ever heard!
Just play
99% sound of human voice 1% sound of pedals. 😶
that have a pedal for that too, talk box
less talking and more playing in different settings.
If you don't play ambient why are you doing this video You blab too much!
👍👍👍
