    Nice video..Im so glad they learned both because sometimes using a trike is just the way better option imo :) I have a trike just so I always have the option.

      I still prefer foot launch because it allows me to launch/land in smaller areas, but I really need to carve out some time with Rick to learn trike so i have options.

    Nice job Rick. Wauchula is one of my favorite places to fly in Florida. An extra benefit going with Rick as an instructor..

    Well done! It actually took me 9 months before my first flight. I did a combination of in person, solo learning, and virtual stuff. I wouldn’t suggest it, but it fit my lifestyle.

      It's not for everyone but I know some pretty good self trained pilots.

      @@PPGGORILLAI definitely agree. If I had the vacation time and wife’s permission I definitely would have gone to a full course…

    Rick, I hope everything's okay. It's been 259 days since I've been waiting for the scooter tire, and my scooter remains out of service. Any updates on when I can expect it

    Tucker Gott just made a video saying it only takes two hours. What do you think about that?

    • @PPGGORILLA
      @PPGGORILLA  9 месяцев назад +2

      I think that's very irresponsible of him. There may be some cases where previous experience gets pilots ready quicker but there is no way to cover what is needed in 2 hours. For the most part Tucker has been a good ambassador for the sport. I've had guys ready to fly on day 2 but usually make them wait until day 3. I'm all for getting youtube views but Peoples lives are in our hands here and we need to take that seriously always.
