Couple things that have happened. First being they were pretty destroyed by a hurricane and were closed for quite a while. Also Jack and Janet retired to Canada. I actually liked it more when people didn’t know about it and it was more old school. I will say Guy has done a great job managing it and moving it forward to be more “trendy”. The jerk chicken hasn’t changed and is still to die for. By far my favorite spot in the Caribbean.
I hear what you are saying. But things do change. Everyone would probably would love it to be the jacks of quite a while ago...but, yea, things change and its pretty impressive to see it evolve into the version that it is now.
I'm glad that Jack's Shack has improved. I had built it up in my mind listening to all the podcasts during Covid then when I went there in 2022 it was horrible. Dead vibe, horrible "service", and crazy prices that were more than on the ship. I'll give it another try next time I am there. Maybe in November. We have a Royal cruise that is supposed to go to Labadee, but I have heard they are subsituting Grand Turk on many of them because of the unrest in Haiti.
Nice job showcasing Grand Turk. You captured the best things to do in the port. Also the ocean right there is very calm, clean and fun to cool off in. Well Done!
Great video! Crazy we were there only a few weeks apart. I really have always liked Grand Turk and the beach there, but now i have to check out all these other places next time 🐳😎

Yes...you can tell someone got their hands on it who knows what they are doing. It's not perfect, but the improvement is dramatic

This is one port we have never been to but dying to visit. 🐸
Its a nice port. Really doesn't blow you away. Its very simple and easy to navigate.
Aka... Dallas
Grand Turk, Columbus first set foot in the Americas and the first manned US spacecraft landed.
Are you cruising alone 🎉
for this one yes i was
Generally speaking, I found the service to be terrible at all the bars and restaurants near the pier.
ehhh maybe. I always give a little concession to "island time" lol
