The soulful music and singing combined with these wonderful shots made my heart swell with utter love and admiration and just EMOTIONS for Captain America and all the people’s lives he has touched. Bucky, Peggy, and so many others who were there with him during this journey...the ones he was inspired by, the ones who were inspired by him...excuse me while I go sob in the corner.
You need to redo this with the footage from "Endgame". Where Cap lifts Thor's hammer (and proving his worthiness) and that last scene with Cap dancing with Peggy would fit perfectly with the end of the song lyrics "...I can go the distance..." and "...where I belong..."

Steve is just like Hercules in so many ways.... He wanted to prove people wrong.... He wanted people to stop bullying him and not just see him as a little guy... He wanted to be seen as a hero... He got all that and so much more.... I love both Steve and Hercules....

Oh man, I was ready for a great video combining one of my (possibly absolute) favorite Marvel characters and one of my (possibly absolute) favorite Disney songs. I was not prepared for impeccable timing, a marvelous three minute summary of Steve's journey, and to this end with me crying. Absolutely astonishing.
Favorite Disney Movie + favorite avenger = made my day 👍😃👍
omg, maybe the similarities between cap and Hercules is the reason why he is my favorite superhero... Hercules has always been my favorite Disney movie
From fighting in WW2 to fighting the Mighty Thanos. Cap did reach the distance and higher. He became the second wielder of Mjioner and a symbol of true American freedom.
This was a fantastic video!! I've gotta say, as much as I love the MCU it's editors and fans like yourself that make me love the characters. You're able to tie in so many subtle things and interest others in the larger universe as a whole, and that is magnificent talent! Kudos to you!
(Also, as a major DC, Batman, and BvS fan, that ending made me laugh and also die a little inside lol. I'm glad you liked it though. That appeases my DC pride)

No joke, most of the songs from Hercules fit very well over Captain America: The First Avenger.
“Go the Distance” goes with Skinny Steve saying goodbye to Bucky at the World’s Fair. It can be reprised after Steve is declared 1A.
“One Last Hope” is basically Erskine’s song.
“Zero to Hero” is basically the song for the Invaders montage when Cap and the Howling Commandos are tearing through Europe.
“I Won’t Say I’m In Love” is basically Peggy’s inner monologue over Steve after she unloads a gun on his vibranium shield.
Not sure where “Gospel Truth” would fit.
Edit: These are all songs in “Rogers: The Musical”. Fight me.

Since I realized that they are basically the same I've been watching Hercules every night and dreaming of Steve as Herc and me as Meg since well my name is Meg. 😂😂😂😂 It's not Megara though but iits Megan and yet I still have the nickname Meg so yeah...

Good stuff as usual BUT it could've used the reprise after Herc talks to Zeus (maybe him talking with old Peggy is the lead in) since that is my favorite verse. Even has the line "I will please the Gods" which is primed for smiling Thor.
