“What about the liver shot” if you feel like commenting this, you need to recognize threat your defense sucks. You can’t cover everything. You need the basic ability to identify what punch is coming and defend against it.
There is a such thing as a level feint, but feints are only effective if you are hyperactive to everything. Stay calm, watch the opponent fully, and you’ll realize the whole “if he go high, I go low” mentality won’t work.
Agree 100%
"You cant cover everything" just sounds like you don't actually know the technique to block the hook to the body while also protecting the head.
and the liver is dead
Finally a proper block video. All vids showing a half block.
Very Good 👍 ! Thank you
thank you man 🙏🙏
Amazing tutorial in defending the hook and cross..
So cool.
Sir, maybe that will work because the one punching is using a bulky gloves and you are also using the same kind, so the strike could be obstructed by the gloves. But I think that in bare knuckle hands your blocking hand could be impacted by the bare knuckle fist of the punching hand. It is still best to block/parry and waive the head away from the incoming punch just in case the punch will breached or pass the block or parry the target-head is out of the incoming force.
What about the hook to the body
Yeah man, great advise for liver damage.
Gloves are nice
LOL Yep.. Was just going to comment the same things...
I was only watching this to cheak this gloves out lol
@@thenameofthegame4037 Gloves are pretty good. I got a pair of the Blk/Blu 14oz T3's 2 months ago. Just wished they were leather. That said the nylar material feels solid as leather. Just have to see how they hold up over time.
Couldn't that still damage you if the person is stronger and still give concussion like damage? Just asking
If the person you're fighting can cause severe damage through a blocked punch, you probably shouldn't be fighting that person
I tried this but was pushed so hard on my bicep that the tendon snapped.
Lol
Just dodge it lmao
Unless you're Muhammad Ali dodging every strike is impossible.
You’ve never been a fight
This is not how to block a lead hook my man you leaving the gut wide
Open you never commit 100% to a punch in boxing that’s where finesse comes in .. which there is none here
yea and rib broken
I block punches like this all the time and it's worked well for me. No broken ribs or body knockdowns. 👍 You just have to recognize the difference between blocking head attacks or body attacks. If you're not sure which is coming keep the arm covering both. But I don't prefer to only block that way. You need to switch up your defense depending on your opponent's attacks.
You resting your hand on ur head or no?
