He did Trevor a massive favor, people don't realize that most marital friction stem from financial disagreements (I.e., less than ideal conditions when things get tough) That's a reality that doesn't happen and go away overnight, it's a grind that not many people are able to handle. Sure, they both probably make a lot of money, but it's never a bad idea to have cash on hand.

Sage advice. When my wife and I leaked our plan to get married, the first few family members we told all started putting in their two cents. We looked at each other, booked a trip, found a local judge and the rest is history. They all got over it. And if they didn’t, oh well. Best choice we could have made.

I met Coach Leach one time at a coaching clinic on the Air Raid. Off camera, he was 100% the same as he was in this video. He was what I call a subtle genius, because he disguised his true intelligence in a way as to not come across sounding brash or narcissistic.
My wife and I were engaged for six months with no set date about when the nuptials would be made. One day just before lunch, I was told that the new insurance plan at work in the county government where I worked included 100% coverage of spouses, but nothing with fiancees.
I called my soul mate and said, "Do you wanna get married and then go have lunch?"
We got married at the courthouse where I worked with two witnesses and went to Whole Foods for our wedding lunch. None of our family believed us for a long time. Our next argument will be our first, and we've been married almost 30 years.

It was our favorite day so far, everyone around us we know and love around us showing us their love and support, everyone was happy, it was a great time and I don’t regret spending the time, money, and stress. 😊

100%. Wife and I saved for 2 years just to split the cost with her parents. We could have had a healthy down payment on a house a few years prior, had we eloped. We have some nice memories and pictures from the wedding, but holy shit was the planning and saving for it stressful.
