Capt. Steve, you are hands down the best boat reviewer/tester on the internet. Cannot understand why you don’t have at least a million subs! Keep up the absolutely informative videos. I love them 👍🏻
Another fantastic video, Captain! I was surprised with the IPS1350s...that's a heck of a lot of horsepower in a boat like this. I think it would be happy to reduce the output and trade it for range. Even so, this would be a fantastic yacht to do the Great Loop...plenty of range for the fuel dead zone on the lower Mississippi, lots of comfort, plenty of cold storage so you're not always searching for a place to provision, and lots of comfort. Very, very nice.
The biggest problem with using a boat of this size on the loop is going to be marina space, especially along the river systems. I mean, in theory you could do the loop on a 90 footer (as long as the beam and draft meet the limits) even on the Canadian portion of the route.
@@michiganengineer8621 The rivers of the Great Loop, other than those in New York state (and potentially Vermont and Quebec) handle towboats and barges that (in the barges' case) put a 60' boat to shame. With adequate fuel capacity, or fuel management, the only time you'd need to find a marina is when you needed supplies to to bunker fuel. You could anchor in the same areas that the towboats anchor.
Excellent watercraft. I can imagine this would be an interesting option as an investment option for someone interested in renting it on a weekly or weekend basis with the twin room being for the hired captain. Up to four guests could rent this. A 3.7-million-dollar investment would mean this would need to be rented out $3k a day or $15k per week, even considering 80% booking and maintenance this could be a solid investment option. Families may prefer renting this to going on a public huge cruise ship. Of course, an owner could offset operating costs just by renting it out part of the year. The finishings are very attractive and photograph nicely. Imagine how nice it would be. I am sure the insurance would be higher than normal; I am not sure which jurisdiction would be best for legal purposes but probably Florida.
No capstan on the bow for lines, and the mirrored vanity in the master stateroom was facing in the wrong direction (why bother?). Two obvious things overlooked in favor of adding gimmicks. Get the basics right Tiara. Great walkthrough Capt Steve, and great one-liners! Thanks
I'm not so sure about the dock lines and deck storage right under the food preparation area- MAYBE if they were beside each other, but the way this is laid out, with dock lines and deck storage in the middle... ESPECIALLY not with the food prep table storage literally in the same compartment as the dock lines and shore power. This is surprising, coming from Tiara. This storage solution definitely needs another revision - maybe 2023.5 or something. Do you want your food prepped on a surface with fuel, seaweed, sargass, or anything else your dock lines might/will come into contact with? Maybe, on a proper 50-60ft yacht that has the indoor facilities to clean the prep surfaces, but certainly not on a day-weekend type boat with a single "wetbar" preparation area.
Huge shout out to Bahamas Boat Works for their Factory Tour and goes to show how the devil is in the details when pursuing a monohull. IPS drives in theory could create a hydro-foil effect.
Hmm no mention of the price must be expensive (google says it's 3.7 million). Seems to be similar style of many Finnish boats, just bigger more spacious and luxurious.
@@ianscott3180 I suspect there's enough room for 4 or even 5 of the Verado 600's. But like you said, then you'd lose the aft swim platform/tender storage.

Measuring speed by calendar 😂😂 great line Captain Steve
Amazing! Great content, thanks for sharing Capt.Steve!

thanks for watching!
Tiara Storage EX60..My wife would fill every bit of that storage in a flash

Wonderful boat. Great video. Well done Boat Test. God bless you. Fantastic work in showing this boat.
1:51 Technically there was storage within the storage within the storage (if you count the bin with the green lid labeled 'Customer Gifts').
I believe all are for longer trips as they contain a lot of storage
I'm stuck on power cats at the moment, half the length, more beam, what's not to love!

TOP!!!
I bet they make a sportfish version of this model.
Looking forward to this episode.

Your opinion.

First! Can't wait for Capt. Steve's excellent review!

with a 16’11” (51.6 m) beam LOL wowwww

If only they could build a boat like this with outboard I guess I’ll have to wait for Uniesse Exuma HTC5p
Too large for outboards. Even if you could you would lose the aft deck and hydraulic swim platform.

The HCB Estrella is also available with SIX of the new Verado 600's hanging on the stern.
Bad fuel milage even at slow speeds
If you are worried about fuel milage you should get a sailboat. Not a 60' motoryacht.
