Introvert here googled "going to a concert alone" LOL! These comments gave me courage. Not that I was afraid of being alone (use to that) I'm just tired of feeling like people feel sorry for me or might think I'm a crappy person because I'm alone. This is my second concert by myself. The first one, (Citizen Cope) i felt awkward.
Thank you for this, I'm going to a concert alone in a week. I'm very introverted & have social anxiety, & I keep thinking it'll be awkward & I'll look weird, but I have to remind myself that no one cares, & that people do this all the time.
I love going to concerts and broadway plays by myself. I"'ve seen MGK, Disturbed, Blink 182, and both Book of Mormon and Beetlejuice by myself. I have social anxiety, but I've always managed to talk to a few people while I've attended because we all have common interests. It's incredible!

Great video! I went to see Mariah Carey by myself. I ending up meeting some really cool people. At the end of the concert we waited outside to see Mariah get on her tour bus! So much fun!! I'm so glad I took a chance♥️

@@blackgirlparis that sounds like I good plan! Maybe I should look into someone dropping me off at the stadium so I won't have to Uber both there and back... I'm in Dallas TX!! The ATT&T Stadium is in Arlington tho but it's only about an hour away with traffic.

I know my mom was going to drop me off there, but I am suppose to get a Uber or lyft back home since my kids are still little and will probably be in bed by the time the concert is over....Anyway you will have a great time I'm sure, I don't know if you saw her by yourself before but when you settle in and don't let nerves take over you most likely will meet some beehive friends for the night:)

I’m going to see Chloe Bailey next month alone and got the meet and greet package in Boston, this is my very first time going to a show by myself. And not only that but it’s 2 hours away from my city so I’m nervous. I have really bad anxiety but I’m also excited and really wanna have a good time 😭😭😭 I’m not worried about looking weird by myself but I overthink if I’m gonna get lost and not know where to go in the venue, and I’m just extra cautious about my safety. I don’t want anything going wrong. I hope I end making some friends there 🥹❤️
I love going to concerts! It’s one of my favorite things to do. I’ve never been to concert alone but I’m going to see Lauryn Hill and the Fugees in October and no one I know really seemed interested, whether that be for financial reasons or otherwise. I’m not going to miss it out on the 25th anniversary of one of the greatest albums ever, so I bought one ticket, a really amazing seat…paid a hefty price for it but hey 🤷🏾♀️. I’m looking forward to this experience. The older I get the less I need other people to do the things that make me happy. If you’re going to a concert alone don’t worry! You’re there for the music, the vibes, the art! In a society where people are unhealthily co-dependent, I think it’s pretty badass to do whatever the hell you want despite who supports or not.
I remember last year hearing that Tinashe came through to my city and performed at a festival. I was at work at the time. So, if she comes through again, I’m going to one of her shows! ✊🏻 Why? She’s an amazing artist and I’ll be surrounded by people who love her as well. 👍🏻

I went to my first concert alone at Breakaway and once it started getting filled up more I lost most of the anxiety and had the best day of my life ever!
i was just was at å consert alone and some guys literly bullied me out, i started crying and they kept taking my stuff bulliying me, kick me meg multible of times, take pictures and throw water at me. I have to now again try to to to a consert alone to try to convince myself it's not scary. wish me good luck.

Less than 24 hours will be my first concert. On my own as well. 50k people. Rammstein. I felt that it was time, not much till I'm 30. I'm mostly not sure how loud it'll be and how the whole eating/drinking and toilet situation is. I did get a seat though, so atleast I can sit down if it's too much. And I have earplugs.
I go to concerts alone and now I have even branched out to attend concerts out of town alone. I'm not going to miss seeing my fav performers just bcz no one wants to go with me. I'm a 69 yr old female & live in metro Atlanta. I no longer like going to mega venues and prefer smaller venues. I enjoy going to smaller cities to attend concerts, eps cities I have never been to.

I went to quite a few alone. Usher in Vegas, Romeo Santos and Konpa Kingdom in NYC. The most awkward one was Hector Acosta in NYC because a lady next to me started talking to me and make a big deal about me being a non Spanish speaker (or non fluent anyway). It’s better when I’m ignored lol. Getting decent seats is definitely a good top. Treat yourself!

Hi Yona, I was reading your blog about Taylor Swift’s vocal range where you said she has a range of between 3.5 to 4 octaves. The range you gave was from A2 to E5. That’s actually only 2.5 octaves. A2 to A3 is one octave, A3 to A4 is one octave, and A4 to E5 is a perfect 5th. So her range is two octaves plus a perfect 5th, which is basically 2.5 octaves. I hope you found this helpful.
