Sooo true, the eyes are too piercing, smtms feel like people loose track of thought when they look directly. Felt like I'm an alien living among relatives and friends, just few people hold real interest. Material things are of little interest as well, and ever since childhood i felt like I better express my feelings only with unusual people, unique in thinking, dreamers. Total empath, and pick up everyone's energies, so have to block certain negative people in order to keep my own balance. I really relate to the eye thing. I have dark brown eyes and my whole life I have had instants where people would ask me do I have in colored contacts or ask me what color are my eyes and to me they are clearly brown. And I just always thought maybe I have glossy eyes but some people see different things in my eyes for some reason
I have Neptune in the first house. You spoke of water retention. I was born with a condition called Hydrocephalus which is water around the brain. Due to this condition, I am legally blind. (No pity). I’m 50 years old now and have learned to navigate the world in these shoes. Well one thing I think you should practice is having time to yourself (alone time). Especially with your pisces placements you would benefit from solitude. Do activities that require a separation from other people, but also a big thing for us Neptune in first house it to stay away from people who try to overly control your life and decisions. Amazing! I'm an Aries with Neptune the only planet in my first house very close to the ascendant. My mother was very disturbed and that gave me with a tumultuous childhood. I was lucky, however, because I was a middle child and had lots of support from my siblings. They kept me sane! I have had people comment on my very blue, unique eyes all my life. I prefer Placidus or unequal houses. And you are right because I just mentioned that very fact on a RUclips June forecast! The 12th in the womb and the 1st is the Self in this incarnation but both are connected by different facets of the self: in this lifetime (1st) and the others (12th).

wrt the law of attraction, I have OCD and the most important thing I’ve learned to cope with OCD thought patterns is that I have no control over my thoughts, the only thing I can do with my thoughts is observe them. The instant I judge myself for having a certain thought, I have just reinforced the cycle of obsession and compulsion. Our thoughts are not our desires. We cannot manifest something simply by thinking about it. That is actually the worst fear of someone with OCD, and that fear is certainly the root of my OCD. Our thoughts are just thoughts. Our actions are where our power lies.
You know I find it so odd that you point out evasiveness. I have my Neptune in the first in capricorn sextile my Mars in virgo in the 8th. I usually get very strong impressions of people when I meet them. Basically I like to read people. I have tried to shut down this aspect of myself because life can be so complicated when you always have a idea of what people are like before they even talk. I can distinctly remember my mother telling me my eyes had a greenish tint to them, when I was younger. Now they have a brownish tint. I learned early on that having boundaries were important ..I can get drained just by to many long phone calls. So after contact with certain people, I cleanse to separate their energy from mine. And sometimes I have to take long breaks from people as well. I have a family history of alcoholism, on my paternal side as well.

I have an 8th house Sun myself and that is likely why you are a social worker (also check 11th house, which I call the social worker house). I would say that it's more just being a Leo than 8th house because that is not extroverted. And other factors can also factor into it.

Please don't tell me I have the Blavatsky eyes! 😅😅😅 But in all seriousness, my own personal experience having Neptune in the 1st is that when I'm really feeling good, strong, and my energy is flowing --- people can't look me in the eye. Sometimes they even take a step back. They try to look me in the eye again, then once more quickly look away. Its the craziest thing to me! I used to take it personally when I was younger. I'm like, what did I do? I love this person, I'm being friendly! What have I done to them? Instead, one day, I asked myself, "If its not me, what are THEY actually seeing?" I concluded it must have been their own reflection. And they know I saw it too --- which freaks them out! The easier someone is on themselves, the easier they will tolerate being around me. Now conversely, when my energy is not high and I'm in a weak moment --- then some people will try to abuse me! Its the craziest thing. Oh well. Guess I'm stuck with it. 🙄

Neptune 1st H Sag square sun 10th H Virgo Also, my asc ruler is Jupiter in Pisces in the 4th - in trad astrology, “the subterranean place” I can only say in my late 40s that this pretty much describes both early and later adult experiences- I was born to a father with mental illness- affective schizoid,who came in and out of “reality” . I was very close to him and from an early age I was yearning to understand the nature of his /our family experience. We were raised CatHolic and this further confused me, as he never really got “better” despite a committment to faith. I experienced severe depression, as most people do in these circumstances- it’s chronic and depressing to grow up visiting your parent in and out of hospitals, never really knowing if he was well or not, and also moving around for jobs in constant relapse. In the 80s and 90s and beyond, the cutting edge science supported the biochemical theory- depression was attributed to a chemical imbalance- now modern studies revealing this to be only a theory, but I spent 30 years on all kinds of antidepressants to “fix” my “disease”-an emotional sensitivity to my surroundings....that often made me physically sick without cause. Later I worked as a fashion designer (very neptunian) and concluded it was often abusive- the glamour /illusion was a kind of drug that helped me cope with my family situation. Now several years off meds- which caused a lot of issues for me- withdrawals, seizures, suicidal impulse- I am super healthy about what I put into my body. I realize it’s just as imperative to protect who and what is around me. My environment requires a lot of peacefulness, getting into a hermit phase of life I think, which is ok under today’s conditions. Anyway thanks for this super nice, thoughtful video. But that doesn't mean anything bad. Maybe you're your own worst enemy and get in your own way. Because Scorpio is a very powerful sign. But it's a fixed water sign and it can be very hard to change your beliefs once you have them. Saturn as your ruler can sometimes view life pessimistically. You're very subjective--you have learn to stop identifying with your thoughts and even some of your feelings with all that water! But like I said, if anyone can do it, a Scorpio can. You're the Phoenix rising from the ashes.

So you might say that I’ve been through quite a lot in my lifetime and yes it did start in my childhood my father is also a narcissist and was quite abusive there’s a lot of gaslighting going on even into my adulthood up until the last couple of years what did you say everything serves a purpose and I needed to know where all of that stems from I don’t consider myself to be a victim and I have definitely been through some difficult times and had very difficult relationships I wonder if that’s partly related to the fact that Saturns retrograde and also peeking into my seventh house which is the domicile of libra but in my chart it is Taurus which was my mother and my father is in my I see of the fourth house and he is an Aquarian It’s been interesting to say the least it does always feel like things are a struggle one there’s always some force against me no matter how hard I work at liberating myself I feel it only works temporarily because if I do manage to get 10 steps ahead I’m taking back 20 so I’m not really sure how to manifest what I dream of and that is to live a debt-free life or as close to debt-free as possible generating pretty much everything that I need with the exception of a few things that are Necessary to outsource of course I would have to learn quite a few skills which I’m not opposed to I enjoy learning skills as opposed to you teachings of other peoples beliefs etc.

I have mars capricorn conjunct my ascendant and neptune aquarius in the 1st house. Suffice it to say its really hard for me to understand how I come off to other people.

That's interesting! I never heard that but it makes sense because it creates a temporary insanity in some cases. So Neptune can be mental illness and this is right after birth and earlier in life.

I really relate to the eye thing. I have dark brown eyes and my whole life I have had instants where people would ask me do I have in colored contacts or ask me what color are my eyes and to me they are clearly brown. And I just always thought maybe I have glossy eyes but some people see different things in my eyes for some reason

I have Neptune in the first house. You spoke of water retention. I was born with a condition called Hydrocephalus which is water around the brain. Due to this condition, I am legally blind. (No pity). I’m 50 years old now and have learned to navigate the world in these shoes. However, I’ve never “really” fit in anywhere (not even in my family) At the same time, I have different groups that I’m a part of at large. I work as a massage therapist and somehow people open up to me and reveal some of their deepest stuff to me. I pick up on peoples energy immediately and I do experience sensory overload when in large groups or with the person who is exhausting energetically. Big ups to my Neptune 1st house tribe!

Yes but you're alive with THIS body, THIS race/ethnicity/gender/nationality (country of origin)have THESE parents and THESE experiences, etc. So lifetime is accurate because while our soul is eternal, our experiences within one incarnation are going to be different than another.

Well one thing I think you should practice is having time to yourself (alone time). Especially with your pisces placements you would benefit from solitude. Do activities that require a separation from other people, but also a big thing for us Neptune in first house it to stay away from people who try to overly control your life and decisions. You might me drawn to people who have a clear sense of what they want but dont be fooled to give them every ounce of right over your personal decisions. Amazing! I'm an Aries with Neptune the only planet in my first house very close to the ascendant. My mother was very disturbed and that gave me with a tumultuous childhood. I was lucky, however, because I was a middle child and had lots of support from my siblings. They kept me sane! I have had people comment on my very blue, unique eyes all my life. I've spent my entire adult life learning and teaching spiritual/metaphysical subjects. My husband was very money oriented and had PTSD. I guess I married my mother. The more he concentrated on money, the less I cared about it. But, since we divorced, I don't have a problem with change and have always seemed to land on my feet. Do you prefer whole sign or a different system of houses? Curious about your insights. Whole sign houses I have Neptune in the 1st house, but placidus I have Neptune in the 12th. Very different energies, but yet so similar in that Neptune is not specific about the self and both placements really highlight my detachment from my ego, so I feel both apply to me.
I prefer Placidus or unequal houses. And you are right because I just mentioned that very fact on a RUclips June forecast! The 12th in the womb and the 1st is the Self in this incarnation but both are connected by different facets of the self: in this lifetime (1st) and the others (12th).
I have Neptune retrograde conjunct the Ascendant (Capricorn), trine Sun (Taurus), opposite Moon (Cancer), square Mercury conjunct Venus (Aries), inconjunct Chiron (Gemini), sextile Midheaven (Scorpio) - and sextile Pluto (Scorpio), but everyone has that one, right ;-).
The eyes 'thing' is very prominent: people are drawn to them, but a lot of times look away when their eyes meet mine, almost like their shocked. It has happened a couple of times when I made eye contact with someone and there was a real shock, like static, with the other person's eyes and face twitching. Once a woman almost fell of her bike, when I (accidentally) looked her directly in the eye while walking down the street.
Everything you mention in the video is very relatable. To make a long story short: life has been quite confusing, but thanks to studying astrology it's starting to make a lot more sense.

wrt the law of attraction, I have OCD and the most important thing I’ve learned to cope with OCD thought patterns is that I have no control over my thoughts, the only thing I can do with my thoughts is observe them. The instant I judge myself for having a certain thought, I have just reinforced the cycle of obsession and compulsion. Our thoughts are not our desires. We cannot manifest something simply by thinking about it. That is actually the worst fear of someone with OCD, and that fear is certainly the root of my OCD. Our thoughts are just thoughts. Our actions are where our power lies.
You know I find it so odd that you point out evasiveness. I have my Neptune in the first in capricorn sextile my Mars in virgo in the 8th. I usually get very strong impressions of people when I meet them. Basically I like to read people. I have tried to shut down this aspect of myself because life can be so complicated when you always have a idea of what people are like before they even talk. I won't say that I'm right about people but when I talk to people I can feel their points of sensitivity to the point where it bothers me. Theres nothing like the wall of boundaries being compromised when you have this placement

I learned early on that having boundaries were important ..I can get drained just by to many long phone calls. So after contact with certain people, I cleanse to separate their energy from mine. And sometimes I have to take long breaks from people as well.
I have a family history of alcoholism, on my paternal side as well.

Social worker/domestic violence counsellor/teacher here that has Neptune in her first house (with mars - both in capricorn), but while I am definitely vulnerable and people wonder why I don't seem as Leonine as they'd expect, it may also perhaps be with my sun in the 8th house that I won't be as hazy/dreamy? I have an 8th house Sun myself and that is likely why you are a social worker (also check 11th house, which I call the social worker house). I would say that it's more just being a Leo than 8th house because that is not extroverted. And other factors can also factor into it.

Oh yes, I love the sea and to swim in it and to daydream and listen to music. Boundary issues that I am still working on till this day but it's getting better. But in all seriousness, my own personal experience having Neptune in the 1st is that when I'm really feeling good, strong, and my energy is flowing --- people can't look me in the eye. Sometimes they even take a step back. They try to look me in the eye again, then once more quickly look away. Its the craziest thing to me! I used to take it personally when I was younger. I'm like, what did I do? I love this person, I'm being friendly! What have I done to them? Instead, one day, I asked myself, "If its not me, what are THEY actually seeing?" I concluded it must have been their own reflection. And they know I saw it too --- which freaks them out! The easier someone is on themselves, the easier they will tolerate being around me. Now conversely, when my energy is not high and I'm in a weak moment --- then some people will try to abuse me! Its the craziest thing. Oh well. Guess I'm stuck with it. 🙄

I can only say in my late 40s that this pretty much describes both early and later adult experiences- I was born to a father with mental illness- affective schizoid,who came in and out of “reality” . I was very close to him and from an early age I was yearning to understand the nature of his /our family experience. We were raised CatHolic and this further confused me, as he never really got “better” despite a committment to faith. I experienced severe depression, as most people do in these circumstances- it’s chronic and depressing to grow up visiting your parent in and out of hospitals, never really knowing if he was well or not, and also moving around for jobs in constant relapse. In the 80s and 90s and beyond, the cutting edge science supported the biochemical theory- depression was attributed to a chemical imbalance- now modern studies revealing this to be only a theory, but I spent 30 years on all kinds of antidepressants to “fix” my “disease”-an emotional sensitivity to my surroundings....that often made me physically sick without cause.
Later I worked as a fashion designer (very neptunian) and concluded it was often abusive- the glamour /illusion was a kind of drug that helped me cope with my family situation.
Now several years off meds- which caused a lot of issues for me- withdrawals, seizures, suicidal impulse- I am super healthy about what I put into my body. I realize it’s just as imperative to protect who and what is around me.
My environment requires a lot of peacefulness, getting into a hermit phase of life I think, which is ok under today’s conditions.

But that doesn't mean anything bad. Maybe you're your own worst enemy and get in your own way. Because Scorpio is a very powerful sign. But it's a fixed water sign and it can be very hard to change your beliefs once you have them. Saturn as your ruler can sometimes view life pessimistically. You're very subjective--you have learn to stop identifying with your thoughts and even some of your feelings with all that water! But like I said, if anyone can do it, a Scorpio can. You're the Phoenix rising from the ashes.

The 12th House is karmic and otherworldly and attracting someone from that house (even though your Venus is in Capricorn it is touched by Neptune because it lives in that house) means you could have this love that feels fated, is a psychic union/soul mate. Magical meaning beyond the mundane.

So you might say that I’ve been through quite a lot in my lifetime and yes it did start in my childhood my father is also a narcissist and was quite abusive there’s a lot of gaslighting going on even into my adulthood up until the last couple of years what did you say everything serves a purpose and I needed to know where all of that stems from I don’t consider myself to be a victim and I have definitely been through some difficult times and had very difficult relationships I wonder if that’s partly related to the fact that Saturns retrograde and also peeking into my seventh house which is the domicile of libra but in my chart it is Taurus which was my mother and my father is in my I see of the fourth house and he is an Aquarian
It’s been interesting to say the least it does always feel like things are a struggle one there’s always some force against me no matter how hard I work at liberating myself I feel it only works temporarily because if I do manage to get 10 steps ahead I’m taking back 20 so I’m not really sure how to manifest what I dream of and that is to live a debt-free life or as close to debt-free as possible generating pretty much everything that I need with the exception of a few things that are Necessary to outsource of course I would have to learn quite a few skills which I’m not opposed to I enjoy learning skills as opposed to you teachings of other peoples beliefs etc.

That's interesting! I never heard that but it makes sense because it creates a temporary insanity in some cases. So Neptune can be mental illness and this is right after birth and earlier in life.

Are you an infant? 🤣 Maybe I am misunderstanding your question. Neptune went into Pisces in 2012. So you could be a kid with that combination. If you mean is Neptune in the 1st LIKE Pisces Rising--yes, but appearance may be strongest if there is a conjunction with the Rising Sign.

Too much talk about 12th house confuses. I Neptune in 1st, but not near ascendant. Sag sun. Neptune in 1st, is discordant. In natural Aries house. Feeling what am I doing here? Yes confusing in early years of life. Do not feel intuitive. Hard Neptune aspects with Saturn have been worse in my 65 year life. I don’t like Neptune when struggling in physical earth.

@@lemurianchick I think being beside Venus it really amps the mysterious to my sexual presence to people. I hardly ever fail at convincing someone to join me in more primal activities. I think wearing Lilith so outwardly and subconsciously it ignites the desire in others to behave wildly.
