Amazing. I saw this when it ran on Rockstar Supernova. I wish Patrice Pike would release this version as a studio version, I love it, it gives me chills down my spine.
It’s not just her voice but the theatrics to the song she gives that make this captivating. Nobody knows what’s coming next from her during the song - the facial expressions, her body motions when she’s talking about the headshrinkers… A-plus on her whole set!
Still get chills when i watch this! My husband is her drummer so i see her play often she is a great talent and has a new album out, but this video holds a special place in my heart rocked it hard.
@Tamela - I was randomly flipping channels and stumbled upon this during the live broadcast. I had shivers up my spine, and this still rocks all these years later.
Had a chance to sit and jam with this girl at the Strawberry fest about 5 years ago...she's a real talent and a powerful personality. Real good songwriter also...
saw her play in Houston a couple years back. she was incredible. and after the show she talked a good bit with me and my wife. she told me I was so into the show that she focused on me and played for me. I was the only one to sing along with her cover of Joey. I was thrilled to know I had helped her in performing. I will always support her, great artist, greater person.
When they sing songs on this show, try not to think about the original. No one ever songs like the original. This is an awesome song and she did amazing.
@zipdoa I know this comment in 2 years old, but I hope you'll forgive me commenting on it anyway. The contestants on the show were all music fanatics, and chose their songs based on the music they liked, and it's really great to see aspiring rock artists enjoying the music that's paved the way for them to be there. Supernova was much less money-driven than other shows of the same genre, and if it's bringing modern classics to the masses, can it really be such a bad thing?
It is laughable that people expect a cover of a song.. A Tribute.. to sound exactly like the original. That NEVER happens, and it really is not supposed to happen. This girl did a very good job. I'll bet if Radiohead saw this, they would agree.
I loved her rocker style, she is gorgeous, and seems positive and cool. I was excited to see her sing, but I was so disappointed in her voice. I think when people are good looking they seem more talented than they are. She carried the same note, and forceful throaty yelling tone, throughout the entire song. I'm sure she has more range, I'm def. going to check out her other songs! Overall cool though!
OMG OMG! IT'S NOT SUNG LIKE THE ORIGINAL SONG! OMG OMG! DISTORTION IN THE BEGINNING! Put your head out of the fucking sewer, this is a cover, not the song being played over again. It's a damn good cover at that, and I'm sure the ENTIRE Radiohead band would agree with my opinion.
kind of ironic to see a cover of this song on a show like this... a show which basically breeds artists that whatever million dollar corporation feels is 'most likely to be profitable'. If you have half a brain, you'd realize that that 'My Iron Lung' is a protest song against billboard singles like 'Creep' which offer no real artistic value... So i'm pretty sure Radiohead wouldn't be really excited to see their music used in this fashion.

I'm obsessed with this performance
fucking excellent performance ... i like more this one than Radiohead itself.... she fucking rock the shit out of it .... "show us what you got momma"

Damn, I'm a huge Radiohead fan, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but she has outdone them. Absolutely stellar performance!
This version still gives me goose bumps
Man I forgot about this show. I was so excited for Patrice. One of my first concerts as a teenager was seeing her in Little Sister like in ‘95
Hey, I really liked her & this was my fave song performed on this show. Love when she cranks up the intensity.

u didn't get it...that was the point. did you see who she was singing to?
I have no idea why she was bottom 3 last week. I can name at least 5 people still in the running who aren't half as good as her.

lukas is hot

She's actually pretty good! I wish she'd learn how to do her hair. :P But nah she's definitely got something.
better than Radiohead's version? that may be a stretch. It is pretty cool, though.
No you just smell, get real better then Radiohead. She's pretty good, Radiohead's really great.
OMG OMG! IT'S NOT SUNG LIKE THE ORIGINAL SONG!
