I am so happy to see this Fatsun Content, this project has neven been about being the "strongest" or " most reliable" car there is. Since your first Photoshop sketches i felt like this was more of a "create your vision"- project, to mark how far your "widebody Everything" Experience had become. Knowing this car will most likely never be fully reliable, and still seeing you "furfill the vision", makes me so happy. Thank you for still holdding on to the "love" that startet this whole adventure.
The Fatsun was what got me into your channel. I"d love to see this all the way until the end but it's not up to me. Hope this gets enough love to keep the project going. Good work as always man.
Getting the body finished is a great idea for the Fatsun. It gets the concept out there, the viewers get what they want, and it'll be at a point where you can revisit it after some other projects. Hell yea 👌
Okay so this is outside looking in but my thought is this, with how many issues your having (and probably will have just because that's how the learning process goes) I'd reccomend a soft reboot on the truck, buy a tahoe and do a body swap!! Sell everything except the drivetrain off the tahoe to try and "reimburse" yourself as much as possible and put the fatsun on the tahoe frame! Still 5.3ls with a 4l60 trans but without the nightmares that are waiting around the corner with the suspension
Seen a few comments that you're in over your head. More like you're showing the reality of this sort of build. Most tubers don't show this stage. Thumbs up to you 👍
Watching you do what you do for the pure enjoyment of creating and having fun with your builds encourages me to get out there and work on my projects. Helps me get over the paralyzing fear that it has to be perfect, it doesnt, you just have to have fun with what you are doing.

Finish the body then finish the suspension. Then break it down sandblast and powder coating the pieces and make it a proper build. That'll bring the views back please trust me.

Yes finish the body!! Could you collaborate with another channel to finish the suspension then pass it off to another channel to finish the drivetrain. Let the fatsun be the new sisterhood of the traveling pants lol
I think thisvthing is sweet. As you have said, it will need a ton pf work to finish and make it good. I get why you say you wont ever be able to fix it. You do you, man. Id love to see it finished, bit can totally appreciate pitting your family and your finances first.
Love this truck man, but in all honesty, i think the initial way you went about it (chopped silverado frame, lift up cab, clamshell front) may have been the thing that overcomplicated something that couldve been extremely simple and probably more fun in the long run. doing something similar to what Gingium did with his drift truck build for the front end wouldve probably resulted in a easier and more predictable front end suspenion and also reduced the fab time. also going mid engine sounds sick af on paper but this truck doesnt seem to be setup for a track day (suspension wise) i hope you finish it, but i do agree that you bit off way more than you or any other shop wouldve wanted to.

This is one of those situations where you think just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do it. That said, what you should have done is focus on the handling of the truck and gotten it dialed in completely. Then work on the cosmetics of the vehicle.
I know it is already done but why didnt weld fenders to the hood for extra strength before being only held by fiberglass and bondo? They are already one piece though! Also, Im happy you worked more, talked less and there is actual progress that is watched, Thank you for that! Also, guess better finish all your body work, missing pieces, panel bonding, then Paint all in one go, I wish you finish the fatsun and give it more time on the channel
Stop spending money on this car it is not worth it spend it on your next build you are very talented on some stuff you do like you said it won't run right it won't drive right put the money into something that matters you can't polish a turd I am sorry if this might upset some people but I don't give a shit there not putting in the work and money

Doesn’t need to go that serious just pull it down and clean them an paint them himself its easier and cheaper

Get some military paint and roll the paint on. 👌 quickest and eastiest way to do it without a booth. Can be done in your shop. Looks good to.
