The Mafex one is by far the most accurate and has better proportions overall. I hope that they fix the common issue that these mandos had were usually the right knee breaks really easy.
Mafex 1.0 came with the knife. I'm quite happy with mine, but 2.0 looks sweet, but surprised they left it out. I hope the ankle pivot is improved, but from the promo shots, it looks the same. Thanks for the comparison!
I did but missed it, don't know why. I have the previous one and by these promo shots it didn't look different to me. My bad. If it really is a new mold that's a nice step forward. I would still go with Mafex tho.

Good comparison. I would only add that the Jeptack from the old Hasbro version was unpainted, only included once and not a very precise sculpt, i assume this painted one is cleaner sculpted, but i can't tell for sure by potentially rendered promo pics. And the old SHF version had a lot more proportion issues. The Jetpack was nicely cut and shiny silver but it was slotted in too high up, it shows up above his neck line and that is another subtle thing you don't instantly notice but is part of the reason why he looks like he has no neck. If you compare to reference material and the Hasbro figure you notice how damn far high up they put it on him. I got the MAFEX 2.0 mando on Pre-Order and the 1.0 in box on the shelf. And i'm getting the Hasbro Book of Boba one too beause i want that version in hand to mess around with and compare to the old versions.

The problem i have with SHF and Mafex are while esthetically, they look better with more accessories and articulation, is how fragile they can be. For what we pay, they should have more tolerance. That is an issue i don't have with the black series.
mafex looks great but they take so long to release figures. we're STILL waiting for their The Batman figure, I just gave up and got the SH version. As for imports, they look great but are way too delicate and too many small parts that can be lost, that theyre not that fun to pose or play with, specially as their joints get loose. to me, the winner is hasbro, just like with their Return Of The Jedi Boba Fett, its not as detailed or accessory packed as imports, but its sturdier and cheaper, just needs a little bit of subtle customization to make it pop.
That's a good point, TBS figures are sturdier then SHF and Mafex figures which are not for younger audience for sure. You definitely have to be much more careful when handeling those imports. And I feel you on that Mafex Batman. I'm still waiting for that one and they moved it to the next month again.

@@ActionDisplayChannel if you notice closely at the end of the season 3 finale, mando lost his pistol, so he’s now carrying two of the guns the Imp mando troopers were carrying, he now Carrie’s them cross draw in his belt, so this figure should’ve came with those instead.
black series 2.0 for the win, new accurate helmet, good shoulder pad engineering, cloth cape. all for cheaper price. also the torso and the arms just look fuller. the mafex look skinny, with skinny arms.
That's great! I disagree about Mafex but it's all good. It's great that we all have these options to choose from. And I agree that TBS Mando looks great. If I didn't go for Mafex I would get him for sure.
I'd like a comparison between the black series,shf and the upcoming mafex boba fetts from mando season 2 as I'm genuinely curious for someone else's opinion who is experienced with the different brands
Mafex wins it for me. Looks the most realistic and accurate and has a lot of accessories. Every one released so far by SHF had too small helmet and I think the one will have that issue too. Also, it looks too dark, at least on the images. Hasbro one is far better than previous ones from that company, I was wondering if I should get it instead of Mafex, but at the end Mafex won. Also, you get two figures there, as I consider Grogu as a figure ;)
Yeah, I agree as you can see in the video. If I didn't go with Mafex I would get TBS one. I just feel that for the amount of stuff, the quality, articulation and overall look Mafex is the best choice for me.

The Mafex one has the most shiny armour! But I prefer the detailing of the SH Figuarts.

True. That is why black series box says "ages 4+" and Mafex says "adult collectible, not a toy, ages 15+". They are ment to be handled with care.
