I don't believe everyone is for full simulation. I'm an old head that has continued to play NCAA football. The people who didn't like madden's direction went back to NCAA. We just wanted an updated game. So we are a little stuck in the past, which I can admit. But making players like 2k with badges is something we never really asked for. The skill and attributes of the players were enough. Wear and tear is another thing i dont remember seeing anyone ask for. However the Stamina and injury attribute should play a more important role. I say all of that to say, it will be a true adjustment for a few of us. Including me.

I was one of the people who complained. I'd like to say on record, that I'm not against wear and tear. I just want the ability to turn it off if I want. I don't want them to start taking away options. Just like, people shouldn't have to play on a heisman difficulty if they don't want to or trying to get adjusted to the game. That's all I'm saying.
I’m perfectly fine with the ability to turn it off I like better a slider casue it allows for more customization but they need to leave it in the game I’m talking more bout those who don’t want it in the game at all
I really hope this game really delivers as a 'simulation experience' as much as you expect it to be. The fact that 2K5 still has better blocking and AI than modern EA games is baffling. When I see clips from this game of O-lineman missing key blocks, I get worried.

This is still EA we're talking about. The clips always show good. But I noticed every single tackle was like in madden. To animated base simulation football will be physics. More than anything. But we'll see. Excited at the almost eleven years though
It’s football of course the “animations are gonna be the same the game is made on the same engine but there’s more animations added so it’ll still be different in that regard. I’m not even paying attention rti on much to the clips I’m more looking at the information about the depth of the gameplay
NCAA 14 RTG, had no immersion. Aside from the fact that you were playing in scaled down stadiums and had local city schools playing, there was really no other indication that you were actually in high school. Not a big deal that it’s gone IMO.
I think my favorite part about all the things they're talking about is it layers into itself. The abilities determine who you recruit. The wear and tare determines the kinds of offense you have to run and what kind of depth you're gonna need to have which ties back into who you recruit. The environment forces you to he more efficient which ties in again to your offense

This game will be better without the ESPN broadcast. It's gonna be more creativity the only thing we'll be missing is the game day cinema with Lee Corso making his picks with the mascot faces lol
Im afraid that the usual thing is going to happen with EA. They make a good sim style game then all the noobs and nerds that know nothing about football complain and EA sends a patch that waters down the defense or something else.

Ngl I hope there’s spring football. I highly highly doubt that would be in the game but at least in road to glory I feel that could give more depth into what decision you make on transferring. Do you stay during spring so that you can earn the coaches trust (especially if the current hc has left) or do you leave to follow your coach and get to know your guys. There’s a lot that it could add but I feel it’ll probably never get added and it’s not the end of the world if it doesn’t (I honestly don’t care this game is about to slap) but I feel spring football would be a neat addition that no one talks about.
Past games did have a spring game but I don’t think this one will I wish it did and I hope they come out and say there’s spring games in the game cause spring games are even televised now
I like the wear and tear system and also the subbing being improved. I always like having two running backs with different running styles I can have coming in and out. Sounds like it’ll be much easier in this game.
It’s definitely going to be an adjustment for me. I kept playing NCAA 14 (including revamped) and not Madden. The details of the gameplay seem rather technical to me. With that being said, I’m going to give this game the same amount of replay value as its previous game. The one thing I like is the dev team adding the little things like having the refs spot the ball, the coaches on the sideline with the play cards and the qb clapping their hands pre snap. I can’t wait to see the deep dive on dynasty mode.
my biggest wishes since i first played ncaa 2000 on the ps1 with texas and a&m on the cover was always having more realistic recruiting, i was never a big fan of just plug and play, going after the best recruits regardless of their styles and they would just automatically work in whatever scheme you were trying to run offensively and defensively. And now with the the badges making sure you recruit the right type of players is like a dream come true. even if it doesnt work out as expected at least its a step in the right direction. I will probably be trash at the games now but i will be trash while enjoyimg it
I feel like a lot of ppl who are still tripping off animations and saying they are the same ones from Madden simply just have never put on pads and played a game of football. Their only so many ways you can throw, catch, and tackel someone. And only so many ways you can motion capture that without getting ppl hurt and expensive equipment damged or broke.
So much talk about surface level stuff (mascots & the like) I want to know how the playoff system will work. I’d actually would like to see how a FSU scenario would play out AND would like that kind of drama in a dynasty mode.

If you are a Franchise player in Madden importing your Draft class from college football makes your drafts better which overtime makes the Madden franchise you are playing better so I understand why people are upset you can’t import draft classes like in previous games because this is a simulation game you will come across some generational players through recruiting that you will want to see how they play on Madden
I remember playing on Sega Genesis and Dreamcast! I can say I live to see next Generation gaming. I knew what this game would look like from the Modding Community the only thing they didn't have all the assets. I say all that to say this I can't wait to give this game a try I promise myself not to complain about anything in year one of this game because EA didn't have to bring it back I could be playing mods next month I'm grateful and joyous 😅😅😅😅😅😅

The PS5 nor the Xbox Series X nor S will be getting any more powerful than what it already is. And EA Sports has been working on games on this current gen since probably at least 2018?!? Why would something that small have to wait for another release.... you see I wouldn't be surprised if something like custom conferences has to wait for another release. Those are the small details that should come easy. Basically it's just a lock on other positions besides nothing that probably really requires additional programming. I'm not bashing you but if you're an EA insider you don't need to put your emotions into this company. They only got the leg up because of exclusive licensing. The new additions of wear and tear and campus iq and player abilities sound good but it all boils down to replay-ability. If those aspects become annoying or stale after playing 8 or 9 seasons of dynasty then those aspects failed. Usually it's the small details that make a game good enough to want to play it over and over again.

But we not about to act as if though allowing the users to control any position on the field in mode B is going to take so much valuable time that it can't be worth it because guess what in mode A of the game the user can control any position on the field. And when you redevelop a product from 11 years ago and throw in a whole bunch of things that your core audience wasn't asking for but leave out the simple things that your core audience was asking for then yeah that's an issue EA needs to be called out on. So many people were saying in October and November that we don't need real players to desire this game to enjoy this game. But of course, it's EA. I'm not advocating for an additional game mode like mascot Mashup. I knew that was never a draw for anyone who bought the game. But if you're going to bring back the game modes that people did want and did ask for, then don't slow drip it through annual releases saying "oh we didn't have enough time because 3 years wasn't enough to develop the game mode where you could play at more than just 5 positions". that's more of a Madden issue than CFB 25. since Madden only has 5 positions, to allow your player to be exported to Madden, CFB25 has no choice but to only have 5 positions
I think we would be friends! We see the game the same way. I have a dynasty with all 134 user teams ready to go! I stated that if there is a slider it will be on the tougher side. If we have cheezers thats fine. We will just move the wear and tear sliders further away from easy. It will interesting looking at the coach skill vs stick skill play itself out.
Only complaint I have is no ability to import draft classes but maybe the can get something worked out and have an update to be able to import draft class’s to madden later or an update that after 4 years of dynasty you can then import draft classes after all the players are auto generated names anyway

Aron is not going to beat Alabama and ppl will run the score up and know it's fake. But I'm going to enjoy this game because it's been to long of a wait I've been around for along time. TBH if some of this stuff works solid - great i would like to see it in madden ,i say some because every thing in this game of course is not for the pro game . so far from what i can see is the passing thing where their is that colored arch thing above the WR's head how much time do we have to throw until it turns red or is it more of a timing thing but other than that im loving what i herd and seen for game play wise . i was a little disappointed with not being able to export/import DC's , couldn't they just give us a option at start of dynasty mode to either have real rosters or generic cause for me i don't care about editing players nor do i have the time to do it . maybe they can work some thing out next year or at least be able to do it after the 4 years a gone

You can edit the real players but it’s extremely limited maybe just their equipment and you can edit the generic players more. EA did this to keep people from putting real life players in the game who didn’t opt in. It’s soley a safety measure to protect them from a legal standpoint and I for one don’t mind it’s a small price to pay for having the game back
You have to understand that we haven't had a college football game I'm a decade because of the whole player likeness thing. EA doesn't want people putting Arch Manning etc in the game to open them up to another lawsuit.

NCAA 14 was above average at best, pales in comparison to NCAA 06. But because there was enough of a community to NCAA 14 EA has another line of revenue. Tell entitled EA Sports to stop pushing for exclusive licenses and welcome some competition in the sports simulation market.

I have been trying to get these RUclipsrs who have a strong platform to understand that if you just jump on the EA band wagon simply for the game existing they will take it down the same road as Madden and never put together the full game the community wants. I'm committed to getting this version but I'm not buying future versions until the entire game is where we know it should be. If they only released the game every 2 or 3 years I would be more apt to buying it but I'm not buying annual releases when there is very little improvement on a game that should have had more in this version.

Im afraid that the usual thing is going to happen with EA. They make a good sim style game then all the noobs and nerds that know nothing about football complain and EA sends a patch that waters down the defense or something else.

Ngl I hope there’s spring football. I highly highly doubt that would be in the game but at least in road to glory I feel that could give more depth into what decision you make on transferring. Do you stay during spring so that you can earn the coaches trust (especially if the current hc has left) or do you leave to follow your coach and get to know your guys. There’s a lot that it could add but I feel it’ll probably never get added and it’s not the end of the world if it doesn’t (I honestly don’t care this game is about to slap) but I feel spring football would be a neat addition that no one talks about.
Past games did have a spring game but I don’t think this one will I wish it did and I hope they come out and say there’s spring games in the game cause spring games are even televised now
I like the wear and tear system and also the subbing being improved. I always like having two running backs with different running styles I can have coming in and out. Sounds like it’ll be much easier in this game.
It’s definitely going to be an adjustment for me. I kept playing NCAA 14 (including revamped) and not Madden. The details of the gameplay seem rather technical to me. With that being said, I’m going to give this game the same amount of replay value as its previous game. The one thing I like is the dev team adding the little things like having the refs spot the ball, the coaches on the sideline with the play cards and the qb clapping their hands pre snap. I can’t wait to see the deep dive on dynasty mode.

my biggest wishes since i first played ncaa 2000 on the ps1 with texas and a&m on the cover was always having more realistic recruiting, i was never a big fan of just plug and play, going after the best recruits regardless of their styles and they would just automatically work in whatever scheme you were trying to run offensively and defensively. And now with the the badges making sure you recruit the right type of players is like a dream come true. even if it doesnt work out as expected at least its a step in the right direction. I will probably be trash at the games now but i will be trash while enjoyimg it

I feel like a lot of ppl who are still tripping off animations and saying they are the same ones from Madden simply just have never put on pads and played a game of football. Their only so many ways you can throw, catch, and tackel someone. And only so many ways you can motion capture that without getting ppl hurt and expensive equipment damged or broke.

I really believe this has potential to be the best football game EA has ever made it may not be perfect, but no game is and they can always tweak certain things to make the game better. The people that are complaining are people who will still spend their money on the game
If you are a Franchise player in Madden importing your Draft class from college football makes your drafts better which overtime makes the Madden franchise you are playing better so I understand why people are upset you can’t import draft classes like in previous games because this is a simulation game you will come across some generational players through recruiting that you will want to see how they play on Madden
I understand your point as it would be only way I’m buying madden but at same time with them having real names it can get messy legally
Point blank it’s a legal issue we wanted college back we got it that’s a small price to pay that I’m sure they will work to fix in the future
I remember playing on Sega Genesis and Dreamcast! I can say I live to see next Generation gaming. I knew what this game would look like from the Modding Community the only thing they didn't have all the assets. I say all that to say this I can't wait to give this game a try I promise myself not to complain about anything in year one of this game because EA didn't have to bring it back I could be playing mods next month I'm grateful and joyous 😅😅😅😅😅😅

The true disappointment with road to glory is this 5 position crap, no d-tackle, no d-end, neither safety position, no tight end position, no outside linebackers. SMH.

The PS5 nor the Xbox Series X nor S will be getting any more powerful than what it already is. And EA Sports has been working on games on this current gen since probably at least 2018?!? Why would something that small have to wait for another release.... you see I wouldn't be surprised if something like custom conferences has to wait for another release. Those are the small details that should come easy. Basically it's just a lock on other positions besides nothing that probably really requires additional programming. I'm not bashing you but if you're an EA insider you don't need to put your emotions into this company. They only got the leg up because of exclusive licensing.
The new additions of wear and tear and campus iq and player abilities sound good but it all boils down to replay-ability. If those aspects become annoying or stale after playing 8 or 9 seasons of dynasty then those aspects failed. Usually it's the small details that make a game good enough to want to play it over and over again.

Stadium builds and rendering took years alone now add gameplay etc so yes there’s gonna be things left out it’s not even a thing that casue it’s in a game from 11 years ago that it has to be in this one. But we not about to act as if though allowing the users to control any position on the field in mode B is going to take so much valuable time that it can't be worth it because guess what in mode A of the game the user can control any position on the field. And when you redevelop a product from 11 years ago and throw in a whole bunch of things that your core audience wasn't asking for but leave out the simple things that your core audience was asking for then yeah that's an issue EA needs to be called out on. So many people were saying in October and November that we don't need real players to desire this game to enjoy this game. But of course, it's EA. I'm not advocating for an additional game mode like mascot Mashup. I knew that was never a draw for anyone who bought the game. But if you're going to bring back the game modes that people did want and did ask for, then don't slow drip it through annual releases saying "oh we didn't have enough time because 3 years wasn't enough to develop the game mode where you could play at more than just 5 positions". I'm just being real.
that's more of a Madden issue than CFB 25. since Madden only has 5 positions, to allow your player to be exported to Madden, CFB25 has no choice but to only have 5 positions
I think we would be friends! We see the game the same way. I have a dynasty with all 134 user teams ready to go! I stated that if there is a slider it will be on the tougher side. If we have cheezers thats fine. We will just move the wear and tear sliders further away from easy. It will interesting looking at the coach skill vs stick skill play itself out.

Only complaint I have is no ability to import draft classes but maybe the can get something worked out and have an update to be able to import draft class’s to madden later or an update that after 4 years of dynasty you can then import draft classes after all the players are auto generated names anyway

There’s a ability called workhorse that makes this possible it’s not saying you can’t do this but there is gonna be wear and tear but some backs are built differently than others

its the normal 130-140 teams we have in cfb. BUT you can add your own team through the teambuilder so that should solve any problem you have with that
I'm with u bro it's a foundation they were able to build with this time and put realistic things in it. I'm with it because it's real football and it's like that in real life. Aron is not going to beat Alabama and ppl will run the score up and know it's fake. But I'm going to enjoy this game because it's been to long of a wait I've been around for along time. I'm still going deep and learn everything all over in the process of having fun
Only thing I have a problem with is Wear and Tear system... I just want my own custom experience of football ... I'm a offline dynasty player ... just allow me to edit my roster around Wear and Tear system... i have no problem with online having it or other features in the game

TBH if some of this stuff works solid - great i would like to see it in madden ,i say some because every thing in this game of course is not for the pro game . so far from what i can see is the passing thing where their is that colored arch thing above the WR's head how much time do we have to throw until it turns red or is it more of a timing thing but other than that im loving what i herd and seen for game play wise . i was a little disappointed with not being able to export/import DC's , couldn't they just give us a option at start of dynasty mode to either have real rosters or generic cause for me i don't care about editing players nor do i have the time to do it . maybe they can work some thing out next year or at least be able to do it after the 4 years a gone

You can edit the real players but it’s extremely limited maybe just their equipment and you can edit the generic players more. EA did this to keep people from putting real life players in the game who didn’t opt in. It’s soley a safety measure to protect them from a legal standpoint and I for one don’t mind it’s a small price to pay for having the game back

You have to understand that we haven't had a college football game I'm a decade because of the whole player likeness thing. EA doesn't want people putting Arch Manning etc in the game to open them up to another lawsuit.

Just because all of the handpicked early access youtubers say they're satisfied doesn't speak to what the majority of the people who will actually BUY this game will feel about it. Doesn't this same thing happen every year with Madden??? So no, no one is entitled for wanting the best product our money can buy, especially when it's the community of gamers that's the reason this game has the life that it has now anyway. NCAA 14 was above average at best, pales in comparison to NCAA 06. But because there was enough of a community to NCAA 14 EA has another line of revenue. I don't think anyone is looking forward to this game just because they want another way to get rid of money. Tell entitled EA Sports to stop pushing for exclusive licenses and welcome some competition in the sports simulation market.

I have been trying to get these RUclipsrs who have a strong platform to understand that if you just jump on the EA band wagon simply for the game existing they will take it down the same road as Madden and never put together the full game the community wants. I'm committed to getting this version but I'm not buying future versions until the entire game is where we know it should be. If they only released the game every 2 or 3 years I would be more apt to buying it but I'm not buying annual releases when there is very little improvement on a game that should have had more in this version.
