Never thought you’d get Rocket Raccoon. Yes, they are charging a premium on the X-Men ship because they know how much fans love them. The taX-Men. I only picked up the Friends building because you are correct, the Friends line has been putting out some incredible content lately.
Got to agree with you. That X-Men ship is way too much. However I NEED to get it. Rogue as a mini figure!. Friends is smashing it at the moment and City looks terrible. The buildings look half finished but Friends look amazing.

What you're admitting is that the LEGO Group is gouging customers because they know they like X-Men, not because it's costing more to produce. The fact that people are okay with this is troubling and will just cause more of the same. If people voted with their wallets to leave these on the store shelves, LEGO would have no option but to reduce pricing. The recently released Quinjet is a more substantial build with over double the pieces and one additional minifigure, and it's only $20 CAD more than the X-Jet. There is no reason the X-Jet should cost as much as it does. I've checked out reviews of this set and while the X-Jet looks great, consensus is that it costs far too much for what you get. The minifigs that come with it are pretty basic too. For example, Wolverine has no arm printing and the legs are not dual molded. The CMF is much better. Cyclops is super basic with plain legs and no arm prints. They gave Rogue and Wolverine leg prints so why not Cyclops?! Even if they just did yellow hips with blue legs it would have looked much better. Rogue is a bit better but still not a great minifig. For the price of this set, the minifigs should have been CMF quality.
You are right and people have in the past. Look at the Black Panther bust and Hulkbuster. They weren't great and they cost way too much. Lego are now stuck with them. I will be voting with my wallet. I will only buy it with at least 20% off plus some vouchers.

The Lego Rocket Racoon is very creepy looking, In fact I think its more creeper then the Chewbacca one, I think it might be the eyes, it needs to be upgraded..

How about building a parking garage under the city? That way cars could have more space. Several levels with ramps to drive to, maybe a car wash/service area, elevators to ground level etc. With lights it would be quite fun place to add.

Great new sets for the new year. I got a great one for Christmas. I finally got the Darth Vader helmet. Took my wife 4 or 5 hrs to build. And yes my stickers we cut correctly.

Hi, Loved the start of your video definitely impressed with your camera work while walking around at the start and it following you in the store, sound and picture was good for me. I picked up the Chinese restaurant and the brick built calendar today. I want the xmen jet too but that is going to be available at other retailers so i will likely wait a couple of months and pick it up on a discount somewhere. I also want the City space station, I think i could turn that into a nice module hotel or research center in my ninjago city set up.

LEGO is truly universal. However, I have to say that it IS nice to hear the prices in Canadian dollars. I'm a fellow Canadian - 66 years of age and enjoying LEGO. A bit later in 2024, LEGO are releasing a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) space ship. It's a fairly large model and it's beautiful! That is one I'd like to build. This isn't for 2024, but what I enjoy doing is making smaller-sized buildings, such as the LEGO Singapore city set, and then adding MOC spaceships, mounting one spaceship on the top of one of the buildings - kind of like an invasion of sorts. I would love it if LEGO created a series of buildings or cities that were more microscale. But that's just me. Thank you for such a wonderfully cheerful and enthusiastic video. I think it is a good idea to come to the big lego market in the Netherlands. It is on March 23 and match 24t it is in a city called Steenwijk in a theatre and the market is called mega bricks Steenwijk. I hope you have a fantastic day
We got the Tales of the space age for xmas. I have not buildt lego in like 25 years. Now I'm hooked though. Gonna save up for the lighthouse. Always been fascinated by lighthouses and the mystery the bring.

The War Machine mech looks great. I think the Venom mech could also be used as a base for a Batman mech MOC.
