I love watching people react to Haley. She is a true vocal genius, goddess, queen! She is so dynamic, Her voice goes wherever she wants it to. She is the literal best vocalist ever!
Great reaction to a unique singer, more than just a singer a great performer. To my ears what distinguishes Haley’s runs, improvisations, ornamentations from many other singers is their musicality. As you say she isn’t just putting them in to show off, she’s inside the fabric of the song and they just flow out of her as naturally as breathing.
People scoff at what I do, how can you enjoy the show if you’re busy videoing? My answer is & has always been, my memory is terrible, I get to ‘re-live’ the shows again while I edit the videos, and cherry on top, when Haley chooses your video to put her pristine board audio on top? No contest I’m blessed with the opportunity and thank Haley every chance I get. After 10+ years of editing almost 1000 videos, seen over 60 shows, I still thrill re-living these performances again & again for as long as I live ✌🏻👽
I don't scoff at what you do! Just envious... Thanks for all the great Haley videos, HT! I have tickets to see Haley for the first time in San Antonio next month, and again two days later here in my home town of Austin. Woot woot! So excited!
Thank YOU for being so dedicated to bringing Haley's performances to a wider, global audience! We would miss so much if it wasn't for your efforts. So, thank YOU again!
This-my 2nd favorite version... This one is now my FAV. adult version, CCR now at No. 3 for now::::... you all know our favorite NO. 1 version overall, by that child prodigy.
Angelina Jordan, the future of jazz, the future of music! I better not say that too loud, a certain troll named James, (aka Jjack190, Jim Jack, Deb1404) might go crazy! LOL Haley is great in her own artistic way. She deserves a lot more recognition for her vocals and body of work! Sorry in advance if James comments and starts spewing negativity about Angelina...What a nut!
I’ve always been a huge Haley fan since I first saw her on that one show. She has such great tone and texture to her voice. An unbelievable vocal talent and would love to see her in that concert setting. Great reaction! Happy you dig her music
For me HAILEY R. and YEBBA are the absolute TOP 🔝 Vocalists as (Non Black) BEST agility and tone in the US. Keep on with the journey because her JAZZ COVERS and the old school rock are EPIC. Thanks for sharing your review and positive comments. If you can later review YEBBA tiny desk performance. Happy Holidays ☃️❄️🤍 2022’.
She's just the best. I followed her on American Idol oh so many years ago and was thrilled when I saw her popping up in Postmodern Jukebox. Do yourself a favor, whether you react to it or just watch it for personal enjoyment, Don't Speak, Seven Nation Army and Oops I Did it Again featuring her are worth a listen to.
I guess there must be hundreds of covers of this " screaming Jay Hawkins " classic 1956 , I've not heard a bad yet its just such a great song to put your own interpretation onto .and this is another terrific performance it's magic. she certainly put a spell on me in more ways than one . :-)
After you heard it you’ll appreciate A.J’s version even better! This version is my second favorite! Haley for sure was my favorite at The Voice , love her voice!!
@@michinawi22able Patricia , I'm a ANGELINA fan I've viewed her performance hundreds of times . and all her other performances of " I put a spell on you " including when she performed on a " nora Jones concert aged 11 in seol South Korea for a audience of 40 thousand .
Canadian here, but milder weather in Toronto. I admired Haley since she first appeared on American Idol, almost 12 years ago. Watching her blossom, both physically and vocally, has been a blast. You can tell from this (short) rendition of I Put A Spell On You, that she has achieved the level of a vocal Grand Master. Yo should consider reacting to Don’t Speak, with PMJ, and an original by Haley called Don’t Know How To Love You. A few versions of Don’t Know How To Love You on RUclips, but the one you should react to is recorded at Chess Records in Chicago, with the only backup of her father on guitar. Great reaction, BTW.
I have artist for you. A band (currently technically a duo, formerly a trio, they use a couple different drummers for the moment as their drummer left to focus on school) from Northern Ireland called Dea Matrona. These two girls cover genres from hard rock to blues, to singer songwriter to folk but all wrapped up in a 1970s classic rock sound an style. Their harmonies and the ability to swap instruments between songs as they swap guitars and bass and share the lead. They've toured Europe, Ireland and done festivals across Europe this past year and will be touring the UK in early 2023. Anyway, these ladies are really talented whether it's their original songs or covers, they are a pleasure and have growing international fanbase.
A nice jazzy take, with some real technical stuff going on. What i don't get is any of the Screaming J. frustration at his situation locked off the opera stage. Angelina was the first who brought that out.
dude... you got "halien" written all over face.. she really is something. may even be the best vocalist of our time (certainly the most underrated). since you have already reacted to "creep", i strongly recommend "seven nations army" (ruclips.net/video/sB6HY8r983c/видео.html ) and "don't speak" (ruclips.net/video/Txi7QuO99kM/видео.html ) with postmodern jukebox. similar to "creep" and along with perfect support of pmj, she again embodies those songs as her own while still respecting the originals. i think what is so phenomenal about haley is not just her amazing silk to sandpaper voice but also her character and soul that she puts into the performances. even when she uses very little of her unique vocal acrobatics, her pure raw soft voice is amazing like in the intro of "creep". you see this even more in her solo platinum cover of "can't help falling in love" for the extra gum commercial which is truly stunning and frequently described as what love sounds like here: (ruclips.net/video/_uNpEbt7w_o/видео.html )
That was a well. Sung mature professional rendition of this song. It was not a spellbinding performance. Screaming Jay was definitely putting a spell on you like it or not. Then there is that 9 year old girl that lives whatever she sings with sincerity and fearlessness. I need to hear Haley sing other jazz standards. AJ ruined this song for any other singer for me, even a more mature AJ. There is only one definitive performance of this song for me.
Other must react to Haley Reinhart music videos are "Seven Nation Army", "Don't Speak", "Oops, I Did It Again", "Habits", "All About That Bass", "Baby, Ain't I Good To You", and "My Baby Just Cares For Me".

Excellent review. So well informed. Thank you
Haley and PMJ do a cover of “Don’t Speak”. It’s great!
She does an amazing cover of Fever 👍
Well.....I can always go back to Angelina for a jazzy and soulful rendition!

For me Haley is the reincarnation of the great Ms. Eva Cassidy if not better. If you get a chance check them out singing the same songs.
