I have this helmet, tried Bell Star and Shoei nxr and this kid beats them hands down. Very good ventilation,VERY comfortable, light and mine came with the dark visor included, top helmet and sizing is true to size, great review here too 👍
I would go X-life, but simply because of the looks. That’s purely aesthetic. Schubert are fantastic helmets and have very few issues. It all depends if you want to look full on MotoGp or more like you are an all round biker! But both are incredibly safe and will keep you good on the road! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hi Jack - thanks for the great review! I have a helmet wall like yours - 26 in all... cheaper than collecting bikes I guess! I am ready to push the button after listening to you! Question - what is the fit like? True to size?
Hey Jack, thank you for the comprehensive review I tried one of these on in a shop last year and like you say, I was really impressed with how plush and comfortable it felt as soon as I slid it on. At least as comfortable as an Arai, who I find to be the most comfortable that I've tried. Question for you.., does the visor locking mechanism on the side of the visor annoy you at all? It's an odd spot for it as usually it's at the front of the visor by the nose. Is it easy to operate with gloves? Cheers
nice review mate, i am actually thinking of purchasing that. Regarding the sizing compared to a shoei, is it the same? Ex Shoei M you need this one in M as well? thanks
I live in germany, and i bought mine from the shop. So i got the chance to try it first and so i realised what size fits me. U get it with the bright visor with pin lock, and i ask the personal for a dark visor so they got me one. Wherever u buy yours, just order a dark visor also. This way u know u got the right one. Mi opinion, u need both visors. If u ride day or night .
@@jackwednesday Thanks, this is exactly the decision I'm at since I need to replace my Shoei NXR/RF-1200. How would you say they compare to each other in regards to ventilation?
jackwednesday thanks. i ordered them both to try them.. and one of em will go retour. the x lite looks like it had a better finish though from what i can see. how do you compare it to the rpha11?
@@henrycanal6808 803 RS is race setting and has the rear spoiler. As cool looking as the RS is if you want a helmet for the road the xlite 903 although doesn't have the wow factor of the RS but is a way better lid for road use, xlite 903 ultra carbon nice road lid but if ya doing trackdays the 803 RS 100%
I have one ordered, but haven't received it yet. I'm looking forward to it, especially after your review!

I bought one like that here in the philippines been using it for 6 hours straight no neck fatigue.very light helmet.
How bad is the noise? Compared to a Shoei nxr 2?
Where can you get that visor?
Amazing helmet !!I have the 802 a lot of years I go and now this 🇮🇹✅
Hi where does it show ECE approved number as its not on my chin strap 😢
Great review Jack, many thanks 👍
Thanks for the review! Between this and the Schubert s3, which one would u pick and why

Hi jack ım willin to buy one of these but im worried if theres going to be lots of wind noise cuz its carbon btw i have a naked motorcyle
I also have two nakeds, I find the x-lite to be fantastic for wind noise 👍🏻

Sizing compared to shoei is almost identical, a medium 57-58 shoei will be a x-lite medium also.
@@jackwednesday thanks mate
@@jackwednesday hey buddy how does it compare size wise to an Arai ? Im a small in an Rx7 but medium in most other brands ….🤷♀️

Have you tried mounting a cardo unit in this helmet?
i have a sena 50s on my RS 803, no problem
Would you buy this or the rpha 11 at the same price? At the moment I could get one or the other... Riding naked motorcycle at the moment.. Aleks
RPHA 11 is a brilliant helmet, but the X803 is a better helmet in every way. If it was the same price I would get the X803 all day long.

step up to the RS, love mine
