Because the track is lame.. boring.. not very inventive and the Beatport competition is a popularity contest, not a skill contest.
I think if you listen closely enough, they're using the same bassline pattern almost in every song. oh well.

I don't think people care about how big the creators are, it wouldn't be fair on the big producers, they are big for a reason
***** But this was the winner from the beatport contest, which is for smaller producers to have a chance to get their name out there, not a known producer to get even more exposure lol... Still a really good remix though.
