Functional dysphonia, she sang so amazing even with voice abnormalities, but that is not fatal so there is a different cause of death. 28 years old is way too young 😭😭😭. She had such a unique and beautiful voice, too soon to lose her 😭. I was just listening to her music MHA ending that randomized on my playlist this morning during my drive to college. R.I.P Sayuri

And then I listened to her other songs, only a few, but still became her huge fan, I thought she could be the next Ado or Yoasobi, but still can't believed she died at 28. It's also sad that she was married only 6 months ago, and I can't imagine her husband's situation rn. As she mentioned in her song, "Magire mo naku atatakai basho ga, Aru koto wo shinjiteru" (I believe unshakeably that an warm place exists...) May she be in that warm place 🙏

She was so young and talented, what an absolutely tragic loss :(
First Maggie Smith and now Sayuri? I'm so done with 2024 bro...
Not that it makes any difference, but it was Sayuri first and then Smith. Sayuri passed on 9/20. RIP to both 😢
Rest In Peace Sayuri. She is no more with us but her songs make her immortal...
R.I.P.❤ we will remember you Sayuri through your music
Bro i listen to her everyday😢
I literally just finished oshi no ko and I just got the feels after learning about her passing
R.I.P Sayuri 😢she is literally the first singer that I heard the endings for! Her voice is crazy! I wish she could've lived longer...
I don’t know her but I just heard the ending song to MHA and I was like damn this song hit hard and when I searched it up I found out she died .. RIP to her .. she seemed like she had so much potential 😞 🕊️
That's sad AF! Loved your music, still do, RIP SAYURI 💔
Oh god. I love Sayuri…her voice and the emotion she brings to every one of her songs is amazing. I hope she has no pain where she is now. Battling chronic illness is extremely tough on anyone. This is so sad, I hope she is in peace now.
Omg dude, I’m crying right now, I will miss her because her voice was so damn recognizable and I really can’t live in a world where she never sing again 😞😞
Gone too soon. Highly recommend her acoustic albums, the songs are full of energy even with just her voice and guitar. RIP
I listened to her songs almost every time and im not lying. To hear this, it breaks my heart i dont know how i would feel listening her songs after this.
OH NOOOO!!! She was one of my favorite singers! That's so sad... It breaks my heart when people die so young...😭
Her voice and style are so distinct that I could always recognize her in any of her new songs I heard. I am absolutely distraught, there was no foreshadowing to this and the news hit me like a stone plate. I am so sorry she had to leave like this. I.... I too want to leave something like music behind me so that I know at least my voice always lives on, and I know I will honor hers and make it live on, too. I will share her music with people I know and listen to it myself. I truly hope she didn't leave in pain. May her soul live in her music forever.
That’s heartbreaking! I love her music, such a beautiful voice, let her live on in our hearts.
No way😢, her song has been my favorite. Her song just hit different and have different vibes compared to other song, cant believe this actually happen while shes so young, Rest in peace sayuri🙏
I can’t imagine what her husband is going through…she looked like a kind and beautiful woman…I send my condolences to her husband and family aswell…😢❤
Man this was a very sad news to me. I love her music. Was listening to her art non-stop during pandemic. RIP Sayuri. Your art will forever give me nostalgic memories during those hard times.
