Furyan Auror id disagree, the combat system in this game is leagues above the combat of those games, which only have gun fighting. That mechanic alone is enough to make sleeping dogs different from them and imo more fun, it’s combat is just so hype
This is so true and it was completely worth it. Beat sleeping Dogs so many damn times and never got bored doing it. Still one of my favorite video games of all time

I remember when i bought sleeping dogs, I had mistaken it for watch dogs which was announced in 2012, and then I thought I had misread sleeping dogs as watch dogs, or maybe they changed the title along the way, so I played this and loved it, then another trailer for watch dogs came out and i wondered wtf I played, then watch dogs came out and I hated it. Sleeping dogs will forever hold that place in my heart. Also bring back modnation racers p is, united front games didn't deserve to get shutdown the way it did.
I’m so mad Sleeping Dogs got outshine by watch dogs and gta 5. Everyone talks about those games but not about sleeping dogs much, Which is crazy because sleeping dogs was way more fun and had a better story. It’s a true gem and still really damn fun to play today. Beat that game so many times and still play it today
The original game was supposed to have 3 dates per potential girlfriend, but 2 were cut. :-( The last date with Emma (sorry, can't recall the in-game character's name - Amanda?) you were supposed to cook dinner for her.
That's nothing, when that girl confronted me about cheating on her(which I did accidentally), I slammed her into the trunk of my car and then drove it into the ocean. It's probably the most fucked up thing I've ever done in a game, that didn't benefit me mechanically at least. This game brings out the best in everyone!

I remember when I first watched this way back when. They actually convinced me to buy Sleeping Dogs, a damn good investment.
