This isn't 1988, bro. People on CBS, Fox, etc., woukd love to be where Stephen A. is at up at ESPN. ESPN is the leader in sports and it's not really close. You can make a case that nobody in the industry is bigger than those 4 letters. Can you name anyone who left ESPN and became higher profile? Michael Smith, Jamele Hill, etc., had their profile lowered by leaving ESPN. Skip was as big as Stephen A. but can't find the recipe for success to have ratings like he did at ESPN...Maybe Cowherd? And that is still a maybe.
