Making of the Green Lantern in 3ds Max

Hello RUclips!!! Today I thought of making something cool based on a comic book, something like a weapon or something, so I just searched online and I found this thing called the Green Lantern. This is a lantern which appears in the DC comic book named "The Green Lantern". Ther is this Guy named Hal Jordan who gets this power where he uses a Ring and a Lantern to get super powers. The Lantern was pretty cool looking, so I thought I could do this in 3ds max. It would probably go for the Beginners cause this Lantern took only a few minutes and it had only basic stuffs like Bevel, Extrude and Inset.....
I used basic stuffs in modelling this.....A sphere, 2 box, 3 cylinders and a tube. I also used Line tool in this tutorial. I even though of using only the sphere and then beveling it.....but I wanted the Tutorial to be as simple as possible so I used many shapes.
3Ds Max is probably is the best 3d software. It has various functions and uses. It took a very few time in modelling this Green Lantern in 3ds Max. Modelling was the basics, so I may probably make Lighting, Texturing and Rendering later.
Along with this lamp, I think I may do the ring later coz thats something like along with the Lamp or the Lantern. Theres even Red and Blue Lanterns in the Comic book, but they all look the same.
I am not doing any Lighting or Rendering in this part of the tutorial. Its just modelling and making the Lamp. I may do the Texturing in the next video if possible.
