According to the Bible - for instance Exod. 32:14 - even their God repents, so where do these preachers get off being finicky about who has repented or who has not?
Then there’s this myth of Jesus being sinless; well not according to the Bible, for cursing a fig tree belonging to another until it shriveled up and died, for not bearing fruits out of season when he should have known better or better yet, when he could otherwise have caused it to bear fruit, isn’t exactly sterling behavior.
I guess Jesus’ sinlessness is merely rhetorical, to be used haughtily in argumentations!

So the hadith is about the Prophet prayer to Allah to seek forgiveness, not the command from Allah to ask for forgiveness. Please know the difference.
