So TW and B-M met at a US festival in 2022 and said they should collaborate. They got that opportunity this year. They went to Japan and played three shows, one with Band-Maid. TW traveled to Japan two weeks early to write/compose/record with B-M and record a MV. They then played it together at their one concert together. In an interview on the PRS channel, Kanami and Dany said that more collaborations are in the future. Kanami wants B-M to go to Mexico and and Dany wants the collab to be in Spanish. Dany and Kanami play similar PRS guitars in the same color.
Thanks from Japan 有難う 💛。 I witnessed the live debut of this song 😍 that was played as the encore & finale of the special concert by Band-Maid & The Warning on June 12 in Roppongi, Tokyo . My seat was located on the 2nd floor but in the center meaning in front of the two drummers. I was in bliss! It looked to me that Paulina and Akane literally and happily competed like a duel to see which drummer can kick harder enough to break their bass drum in the joint performance. 🤣 (FYI : In the special concert, The Warning, who opened as the special guest, performed so powerful that the Maids were fired up to start their turn with fullest energy as the hostess band. It was fun like a kind of martial arts between two fighters respecting each other. 😄)
That show is definitely on my "wish I was there" list. Though having to settle for their next milestone headliner in the 'Auditorio Nacional' isn't to bad either. 😁
@@Incognito-8884 Thank you. Band-Maid loves Mexico so they played at PABELLÓN OESTE last year. Their 3rd concert in Mexico could be held at the big venue, Auditorio Nacional with The Warning (In this case, BM must open the show for TW.). 😄
Hey Sky! Yeah, we're kind of in a Golden Age of music collabs, it seems! After spending a few weeks in Japan, recording and shooting this, they DID play it at a combined show, so there is a video, but nothing professional- have fun anyway! Now they want the Maids to visit Mexico, but I say why stop there? How about a North American tour? Yeahhhh! Rock onnnn! 🤘😎👍
Loved the video. You’ve reacted to Chris Stapleton before. Chris asked Patty Loveless to join him and his wife onstage. They did 2 songs “ You’ll Never Leave Harlan Alive” is the standout. Patty’s voice is so powerful Chris does not overshadow her.
Yes, they performed it live at a joint concert they did together in Tokyo, and i was there. And as good as the video is, the live performance was even better. The love and resiect tgey have fur each other was obvious. They had me in tears by the end and I had goosebumps for almost the entire song. I hope they release the live version soon. You can, huwever, watch the vlog the Warning just released about their time with Band Maid. It is cute and touching.

In a way it does feel like they're testing the waters but given the time they had and the fact they've never played together it sounds pretty great. Definitely makes me look forward to what future collabs between these ladies can bring!
Imagine what these ladies could produce when given more time and getting more used to playing together seeing that both bands are exited to do more collabs! As @taka_freebird already suggested check out the aftermovie but beware that someone might be chopping onions next to you for the duration of it. So heartwarming seeing the bond between them growing stronger during the video. 🤗

I have been to 4 Band Maid concerts and they are awesome. I would really love to see Band Maid and the Warning tour the US together.
A great collaboration between powerhouse bands that just happen to be friends, also! A showcase for both bands, not a competition!

Do not react to the live version of this which is a bootleg version. Other reactors did and RUclips gave them a strike and deleted their video.
It's a good song, but not as good as a lot of the songs that these two bands do individually.
