@Angie2343 thats not true. the musical is an adaptation of the 1971 movie, which Dahl hated for being nothing like his book. the 2005 movie is the closest adaptation of the book that exists, as it was written as a whole new work independent of the original movie, even keeping the true title, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (not Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory)
Roald would actually be laughing in his grave over the fact that the gum has egg drop soup, kung pao chicken in addition to blueberry pie instead of tomato soup and roast beef.
Also, keep in mind that this play is more faithful to the book than any other adaptation. Will you post the other scenes? :) You were perfect as Wonka!
Olivia and Jose caricoa are falling in love and best friends forever and ever

@JoeFro4287 The only thing that was missing from both films and the theatrical shows is Miranda Piker.
You are the best Wonka actor. That's how I imagined him in the book. Well done!
Good. The young actresses playing Violet, Veruca and Charlie are perfect, too!
