They wanted the Taliban and fought hard to get rid of the western armies so Afgans should not moan and get on with the Govt they wanted they had their chance but turned to Taliban and Sharia Law.

That's false .the taliban agenda was pushed by Pakistan and some other countries in the region .because they wanted to make American mission fail in the country regardless of consequences.

I do not think there has come back from that situation, sad. Also, we have now RUclipsrs and pseudo-journalists who make videos saying how cool is the country, and how good live there, they are men from Finland, Ireland, and similar (Democratic countries ) who paradoxically do not remember that half of the population there has no rights.
