I don’t care if people think it’s not the peaches job to take of you. As a child in their care essentially because you’re in their home it’s absolutely their responsibility to take care of you when you’re in their home!

I be hating on Sam heavy but when I think about from the perspective of a 13 year old who is constantly placed in adult situations, has a cheating daddy who didn’t claim her at first, a horrible stepmom, and an aunt who she thought was her older sister and is now sleeping with her bio dad, anyone can see why she acts the way she acts. I hoped she has healed/is healing from that trauma and is a whole new woman at peace.

5k come on 5k!!!!!!! Lex, I can see why we, as an audience, will have our mixed feelings with Sam. You were so right when you started this series in saying that because man I feel for homegirl and the family she was raised in. To have to know at that age how your father is a compulsive cheater is damaging on a whole other level. I discovered my brother's first wife was cheating him when I was in 7th grade & that was life changing. She kept denying it after I had already seen photos of her with another guy. That seriously made me dislike people who lie to my face and I can pick up when someone is lying so when I uncover their lie I'm just stuck at I KNEW IT I FREAKEN KNEW IT!!!! Those kind of events really do shape us and its just terrible to go through those kind of situations at a young age. I do agree that grown folk problems are grown folk problems, but grown folks need to learn how not to have their problems spilled on to us. Then understand when we are made aware of it then we are included whether they like it or not like you dug your grave homie now deal with the consequences of your actions. Love you beautiful!!!

They were being stingy and funny with things they were giving away. For the life of me I don't understand how you could see a CHILD struggling so close to you and it not be second nature to jump in & help the best way you can.

Regardless if they did not have to take care of you, it doesn't take much to be kind and show kindness to the teen who is caring for your children. I don't understand how these people hardly paid you, knew what you were going thru, and still didn't find it in their heart to just show empathy for your situation. You are literally caring for their children and making sure their home is tidy, yet they couldn't see you with some of their discarded clothes?? They were hand me downs sure "expensive " hand me downs but materials are materials it does not matter and they shouldn't have shined this big light on the fact that you did not have the means to afford those kind of things at your age. More reason since you couldn't afford those things at your age or did not have a parent in your life, they could have done more to help its just about them having put their hand over their heart & showed compassion. ❤ I'm sorry for what they put you through, and I'm sorry for those children who grew up with parents like that.
