As an FSU fan I love watching Drake Maye play elite level QB play. Hopefully we play NC in the ACC champ game would be great for both teams

UNC football has always fluctuated in between mid and slightly above. Forever it seems. I want Mack to get them there, but he hasn't been super impressive nor a let down. This is typical UNC football, they've been here before, but the recruiting classes and Mack himself are at a new level. He has 5 more seasons tops and at this pace we should see at least one playoff birth and that would just be ok unless they went deep. I think that logo and branding can and should be a contender every year. And they frankly are the only nc team with the clout and resources to do it. I'm going off when I don't even have a team lol.

The worse part is realistically we could have put up 60+ but we decided to run out the majority of the 4th quarter…well 4 down 8 to go.

Mack brown is known for doing that. He did it a lot while at Texas for us in 2011. It’s all respect and taking care of your players no injuries needed

@@thetarheelhuddle Sam Howell was nice too, I hope he does well in the NFL. I lived near Fayetteville in 3rd grade, I've always liked the UNC colors, I've been to Chapel Hill. I just hate how covid was made/researched in a UNC lab. That's the only thing I know for sure I don't like about UNC. Probably has little to do with the football team though.

@@jayc6395 Caleb is slightly better than Maye, and Maye is slightly better than Shadeur. 3 of this seasons best for sure though. Still early but pretty easy to observe objectively.
I think he definitely will be the 2nd QB Drafted after Caleb, he really reminds me of Justin Hebert.

Duke is good, but that schedule is going to get too difficult and UNC will probably serve them a solid L due to the late season. But if Duke Played UNC this coming week, then it would be very close, very high viewership and a complete toss up dogfight.

Bs our Defense is way better like take away the first two drives Unc got gashed and then adjusted and shut them down for the rest of the game.
@@gagejernigan5277 serviceable indeed but UNC does need an elite D and they have the potential. This is a year for UNC to really get the ball rolling for being a premier program. Now is more possible than ever. Legit now or never. They must capitalize.

This was a game until Pitts QB started throwing interceptions and fumbling the ball costly turnovers make you take big Ls . Great game for UNC though as they progress to a undefeated record 4-0

Disagree. The defense was exceptional against South Carolina. Been trash since but it hasn’t been all Maye.
i wouldnt say trash they have held everyone besides app to 17 or less but there are def still concerns they are not elite but id say they are good
well the QB let unc’s defense to sack him multiple times. and not to mention, SC’s offense is terrible as well. bad offense, you wont make good plays or block potential sacks.

How many 4&5 star players has he kept in-state as opposed to how many were cherry-picked by other programs before he arrived? Pretty much, but on paper they are defensively full of talent and 4-5 stars. Their D-Line should be one of the best in the country. The linebackers are good enough. Secondary is the weakest link, but again, a decent defense and Maye is the reason.
The defense is allowing less points per game than last year. But yeah if it wasn’t for the Quarterback 🙄
