great video
I got the AMD version and wifi wasn’t recognized with Ubuntu. I also read there are problems with sleeping. Hopefully I can return it as I needed it as a replacement work laptop
I just bought the AMD version and my wifi seems to be just fine in Linux Mint 22. But I must say my Thinkpad is the L14 g3 and not the T14 g5
@@LucasHenriqueCarneiro I couldn’t return it because of the customization policy Lenovo has. I ended up installing mainline to allow me to use a more recent kernel which supports the WiFi device. Not working perfectly as suspend doesn’t work but good enough to do most of my work
Any clue on when they start offering Ubuntu pre-installed on a new gen? You save like a hundred something bucks on it when you don't have to pay for Windows
I am not privy to that data.
Vaapi is supported? Work?
How about AMD processors? will linux work out of the box with AMD processors?
I am at the mercy of what Lenovo sends me. and I've yet to get something with an AMD processor.
I bought an AMD version and the wifi doesn’t work. Also might have problems sleeping
@@terencetan5712 just wondering whether you chose Wi-Fi 7 module?
