Well, here's a couple of ways: 1) If you have a dress form the apex is the center of the bust, the bust tip. 2) if you have a pattern that you buy at a fabric store, usually the pattern will have the apex already marked. 3) If none of the above is an option, you draw an "imaginary" line criss-crossing from the Center Front to the Side Seam at Waistline and from Shoulder/Armhole Tip to the Center Front/Waistline. ~ Hope this helps...
